A bit too basic

Comfortable, clean, well appointed. Beautiful gardens.

It’s a small but cozy cottage. Clean and well maintained. We love the front and back yards. Sitting on the lounge and enjoying the breeze. Board games are a plus on a relaxing night. We played Monopoly! Nice Weber BBQ, well equipped kitchen appliances.

Nestle instant coffee are expired in 09/2025, I guess no one really drinks it. Cupboard doors and drawers are unreliable/broken, not a big deal but a bit annoying if you plan to cook at home often. It seems an old issue as someone mentioned it a year ago. Pillows are way too high for us. We had to find a cushion on the couch to use.

It was clean and had been renovated not long ago

I found a bed very uncomfortable. It was made of a foam sort of stuff. The ceiling light in one of the rooms didn’t work and that was the one that had a fan in the ceiling. One of the bedside lights was electrically faulty and was unable to be used. Some of the cupboard open and close latches did not work. There was only one knife in the category drawer. The garage was filthy hadn’t been maintained. The front gate was very hard to open and close and the door handles and locks needed to be oiled. They were stiff and hard to open for an old person with arthritic hands. The bed was a big problem. You could not roll over in it. You had to physically lift your body up to roll over.
