The Pup Deck is a pet-friendly home that sits on the ocean side of NC-12, with the beach less than a quarter mile walk away (with no streets to cross!). The home is also close to Currituck sound, so grab the kayak and enjoy the calm waters.

The Pup Deck has a new commercial-grade network system for an outstanding internet and wi-fi experience. And it has TWO home theater systems in the mid-level lounge and the top-level Great Room. Music lovers will appreciate the iPad controllers for multiple Sonos speakers throughout the house to provide a superior audio experience. All the home's TVs are wall-mounted 4K smart TVs with a standard interface. It also has an extensive DVD and book library for adults and children alike.
The Pup Deck has a private pool, spa and two seating areas: a Great Room overlooking the sound on the top floor with a big screen TV, audio features, home theater and a huge sectional couch, and a Lounge on the middle level with a big screen TV, audio features and home theater.
The ground floor has a newly renovated game room with modern lighting, flooring, and a beautiful American-made vintage pool table. There's even an outdoor ping pong table in the carport. The large, well-equipped kitchen offers new stainless-steel appliances, quality stainless cookware, flatware, dinnerware, and serving pieces to satisfy even the most serious cooks.
All six bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The two master bedrooms on the top floor are even remote-worker-friendly. This dog-friendly property boasts new, memory foam, king-size mattresses in four of its bedrooms.
At night, this home sparkles like a precious jewel, thanks to gorgeous outdoor lighting that ensures your safety while you enjoy the pool or the spa in the evening.

We visited Duck and stayed in this house with grandparents, kids, and aunts/uncles. The house was lovely and VERY well stocked! The pool area and downstairs game room was very nice. The access to the beach was a further walk than we expected, so we did drive our car down with all the beach gear and park it in the available spots closer to the beach. With younger kids or older adults this would probably be more challenging. The sound access was closer and we did visit there some too, although it was weedy when we visited, so the sound beach was not great for playing, but worked for fishing and kayaking. Overall, we had a love stay in this amazing house, but will likely stay closer to the ocean on our next visit.

The place was terrific. It was a beautiful house and had all amenities needed by us for the stay. It was a short walk to beach access at location of lifeguard. It has great decks for beautiful night sitting with breezes off the bay. Highly recommend.

The Pup Deck was a very well stocked rental. Everything we needed was available at the house. It was a very doable walk to the beach. The house had two private outdoor showers to wash off the sand when we returned. The pool was just the right size for our grandchildren. They loved swimming and playing in the pool. The location is very nice. We barely left the house after our arrival.

I don't usually write reviews - but I was really impressed by this house. It had everything! It was nicely decorated - lots of little details I didn't expect, no second rate rooms! There was a hitch with the cleaning of several bedrooms when we arrived but it was taken care of promptly. Highly recommend.
