Had a lovely relaxing stay

Excellent location , beautiful garden, pretty private. The sun room in particular was lovely to sit in....and there was a hot tub. Walking distance to Montrichard and it's facilities.

We could have done with a wee bit more storage for clothes etc and for food

We wanted to relax and turn off for a week and we could not have chosen any where more perfect !

Everything was perfect - beautiful garden so peaceful ! Right by the river and a 5 minute walk to the town with lots of restaurants and shops . We only used our car for trips out and it was safely locked behind the garden gate on the property . We had all we needed for a weeks stay - even tea ,coffee , toilet paper , shower gel etc . The host was always available if needed but never intrusive . I think we found a little corner of paradise and hope to return !

Our only criticism would be the lack of any where to store our clothes in the bedroom. It is not a deal breaker at all .

Nice but not in a heat wave.

The apartment was in the very nice garden of the owner's main house and parking was at the bottom of the garden with locked gates. It would have been more comfortable if it wasn't so hot. The owner was easy to talk with and tried to help with the temperature in the rooms.

Unfortunately there was a horrible heat wave in France at the time. The apartment does not have air conditioning although there were some fans. The owner tried to cool the place down, however the windows had to be open at night and lack of privacy was a big issue. The apartment seemed smaller than the photos and the main bed in the mezzanine was way to hot to sleep in, so we had to use the sofa beds in the living room/kitchen area and the breakfast area. Lots of knickknacks everywhere and not much space for our things.

Perfect Gite/Cottage for exploring the Loire Valley

What an amazing cottage in a beautiful small town and not far from some excellent chateaux and wineries. Our Christmas was made very special by all the gorgeous decorations throughout the downstairs and outside. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed to cook Christmas lunch and enjoy other meals that we made after buying delicious produce at the local market in the town centre. The delightful couple who own the house and cottage had thought of everything - right down to robes and flip flops for the hot tub (which was special)! It was also quiet at night - we could only hear the owl! Lastly the wood burner was great in the evenings (it wasn’t needed for the heat as the cottage is very warm, but we loved sitting by the real fire).

We loved everything, and even though my husband is 6ft 3” he managed with the sloped ceiling in the bedroom.

Une maison cosy dans un cadre de verdure magnifique et soigné. Un accueil chaleureux. Le jacuzzi privatif est un bel équipement et grâce à une météo estivale nous en avons grandement profité.

Gîte de charme en plein cœur de la Loire

Gîte très confortable dans un grand jardin, intérieur cosy aménagé avec beaucoup de soin, et le jacuzzi sur la terrasse pour se détendre en fin de journée. Très bien situé pour visiter les châteaux, sites et caves conseillés par Olivier. Balades à velo possibles depuis le gîte. On reviendra en profiter à la saison des fleurs…on se souvient aussi de l’accueil très chaleureux du premier jour

Rien à reprocher, mais il ne faut pas être trop grand pour accéder au duplex

Comme à la maison !

L'ensemble du pavillon, le jardin, le spa... Tout était formidable, charmant et fonctionnel ! Propreté IMPECCABLE ! Les hôtes sont adorables et bienveillants. Qui plus est, ils ont mis tout à dispo pour le confort de notre bébé (lit, espace à langer, baignoire...) et ça, en tant que jeune maman, ça m'a vraiment touché ! Merci à Marie et Olivier !

Le fait de rester aussi peu de temps (2 nuits), on a envie d'y rester plus longtemps ! On reviendra !

Un accueil chaleureux un gîte accueillant,tout le nécessaire sur place,un jardin où il fait bon vivre, au calme. En tant que motards nous avons apprécié avoir la possibilité de stationner dans la propriété.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans le pavillon Tilia. Tout était réuni pour que ce séjour soit une réussite. Un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant par Olivier, avec des petites attentions qui nous ont ravis. Le logement est très agréable, lumineux, cosy et très bien aménagé/équipé. Le Jacuzzi est excellent après une journée de visites ! La situation est top pour rayonner dans la région, l’endroit est très calme dans un écrin de verdure et très joli jardin. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir et nous recommandons cette belle adresse.
