Breakfast was freshly made and delicious
carpet on stairs needs changing - it looked a little tired.

The bar staff were excellent and the bed and room were clean
I had to wait 10 min at check-in as no-one was there and was then redirected to check-in via the attached bar. In fairness though a full bus load of passengers had just arrived before me for the restaurant and staff were busy dealing with them.
The room was very warm and noisy with service pipe type noises in the morning hours

Room was cool during the heat wave of temperatures in the high 20s. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was quiet. It’s an old building but the room was clean. Food in the restaurant is very good.
Room could do with a suitcase stand as there isn’t a wardrobe.

Room was clean and the bathroom was very spacious.
Emergency light outside door. Fan light over door let light in 24/7 . Very hard to get to sleep.
