Rene the host was so welcoming, I sent my mom and son and there was a bit of a misunderstanding with payment through Bookings.com and I still owed Joint Backpackers and I was so worried as I wondered where my mom them would sleep but Rene told me not to stress, she gave the room to them and just sent me her banking details. She has already booked my next stay for October.
That I was not there to experience everything that my mom bragged about :)

Location, peaceful, weaver birds, chickens and donkeys' brays. and the Host very friendly.
Toilets are far...problem in the middle of the night go out and pee.

This is the perfect spot for an overnight or maybe up to 3 nights. We used the location to see sites during the day and returned for the evenings to wash up and enjoy a braai under the night sky. The grounds gave me piece of mind as it was fully enclosed and my kids could wonder round with ease. The kitchen and facilities where clean and adequate with all the needed amenities in place. We stayed in the two stationary caravans and at night you get the feel of Glamping in the out doors. Id defiantly recommend the site at the recommended price it was well worth the stay

The staff were very professional and helpful. The location is also spot on and it’s excellent value for money. It’s hard to beat this price for such a convenient area.
The facilities and comfort were a bit underwhelming. The place needs a more thorough clean and the rooms could definitely be updated to feel more comfortable. It’s a bit basic once you’re inside
