Oppi Draai Guesthouse

I was warmly welcomed by Amanda on arrival, who briefly explained the layout of the accommodation. I appreciated the secure parking and the overall neatness and well-maintained appearance of the property. The welcoming chocolate was also a lovely and thoughtful touch. There were, however, a few aspects that could be improved. It was only later, when I wanted to heat a meal that I had purchased earlier, that I discovered there was no microwave available, nor any dinner plates or cutlery. It would have been helpful to know this on arrival, particularly for guests who may be planning to have a meal in their room. Another small frustration occurred when I was leaving early the following morning. I was unsure where I should leave the room keys and spent some time trying to establish what to do with them. This could easily be avoided by explaining the key-return procedure when guests arrive, or by leaving a brief note in the room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Oppi Draai and appreciated the secure parking, cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere. With a little more information provided to guests on arrival, the experience could be even better.
