About this house rental
Charming little house perched on the heights of a peaceful medieval village and set in a green setting, the cottage welcomes you for your holidays in Montaigut le Blanc.
Ideally located close to hiking trails, close to the ski resorts of Super Besse and Mont Dore as well as many lakes.
3km from the cottage, the village of Champeix offers many shops (pharmacy-bakery-gas station - bar restaurant - grocery store...)
The accommodation:
Pleasant and bright house of 50m2 facing south.
The fitted kitchen on the first floor includes a wood burning stove and gives direct access to a closed terrace of 30m2.
A small permanent shelter with tables, chairs and barbecue embellishes this space.
Upstairs a living room with sofa bed 120*180 as well as a bathroom composed of a shower, sink and toilet.
On the top level a mezzanine for the sleeping area with a 160x200 bed.
Bed linen and towels are included in the price displayed by Vrbo.
Electric heating in every room and wood stove.
End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the price and will not be charged on the condition that the premises are returned in the state of cleanliness in which you found them. (A deposit cheque of 50€ will be requested on arrival and returned during the inventory of fixtures.)

We had a very nice stay in the appartment. The place is very nice, calm and it was a perfect getaway from our everyday life.The flat is very nicely decorated, feels welcoming from the very beginning and very cosy. Everything is clean, the kitchen is well equipped. We liked the atmosphere of the small village, it is nice to go for a walk. We highly recommend the place and appartment.

Set in a very quiet village the property is ideally located for a peaceful break and located well to explore the area. Our only complaint was finding the place - the satnav guidance sent us down some inaccessible streets. Guidance to others: If arriving from the east (Champeix) drive through the village (main street) and then approach from west (then following satnav if necessary).The place is rustic but clean and well prepared, although no kettle.
