Located in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, this vacation rental is situated in Saint Diéry on a 1,300 m² lot.
Ideally located, you’ll be just 10 minutes from numerous tourist attractions: the medieval town of Besse, Murol Castle, the thermal baths and church of Saint-Nectaire, and the Jonas Caves.
The surrounding landscapes offer beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails along the shores of numerous lakes—such as Lake Pavin—as well as waterfalls and volcanic formations.
From snow (the Super-Besse winter sports resort, 18 km away) to swimming (Lake Chambon, 10 km away), you’ll have plenty of seasonal activities to choose from, including skiing, snowshoeing, zip-lining, swimming, bowling, movies, escape rooms, and more.
In the heart of the Sancy Massif, you can sample Auvergne cuisine—notably truffade—and explore local farmers’ markets and small producers. A short visit to a farm, from milking to cheese-making, will let you taste the finest cheese: Saint-Nectaire.
The A75 highway is 30 minutes away; Vulcania and the Chaîne des Puys, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, are 40 minutes away
Shops are 10 minutes away.
The cottage includes:
* a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, induction cooktop, range hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, Senseo, toaster, kettle, raclette machine, waffle maker, and wine cooler stocked with local products
* a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, sofa, sofa bed, TV, DVD player, stereo system, board games,
* a bedroom with one 140-cm bed,
* a bedroom with one 90-cm bunk bed,
* a half-bath, bathroom with shower,
* laundry room + garage (washing machine, storage for skis or bikes), vacuum cleaner, ironing board,
* patio, barbecue,
* 1,300 m² of land with a garden table, sandbox, swing, lounge chairs, fruit trees, children’s play equipment.
Tourist tax included, heating included (electric and/or wood-burning fireplace)
The cottage must be left clean at the end of your stay, or a 60-euro end-of-stay cleaning fee is available.
Available for weekdays or weekends with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Please note: During school breaks, rentals are by the week, from Saturday to Saturday

Un accueil très chaleureux ; des conseils sur les sites à découvrir vraiment adaptés et qui permettent de cibler les sites à voir en fonction de ses goûts.
Si vous venez avec un chien : attention, ce n'est pas encore complètement clôturé.
