YOUR VACATION PARADISE
The fully operational dairy farm with cows, calves, cats, and our old farm dog “Ilka”—who is now joined by “Aika”—is quietly nestled amid picturesque countryside, yet right in the heart of the small village of Mederns, about a 10-minute drive from the North Sea coast. By the way, you’ll find a highly recommended restaurant right in town.
If you’d like, you can experience active farm life with us throughout all seasons. Just get away from the hustle and bustle...


Two vacation apartments are located on the first floor and the first floor of our vacation country house on our farm grounds. They are modern and stylishly furnished in a Frisian style. All apartments have Wi-Fi access. You can find the second vacation apartment, “Gartenblick,” in another listing on the City of Jever website.

VACATION APARTMENT “ZUM HOF”

– 3 bedrooms: master bedroom with a double bed, a children’s room with a bunk bed, and a children’s room with a single bed
- separate kitchen (new in 2021) with an oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and hand mixer
- living room with flat-screen TV including satellite reception
- upstairs: large master bedroom, a children’s room, and a reading area
- downstairs: kitchen, living room, children’s room, and bathroom with shower and toilet
- Parking space in the carport

Baby equipment, including a crib, changing table, and high chair, etc., is provided upon request.

Leisure: The large, well-maintained garden (over 2,000 square meters) behind the vacation home, featuring a garden pavilion, patio furniture, and a beach chair, is perfect for relaxing, reading, and barbecuing. For children, there’s a trampoline, our wooden horses “Donner” and “Blitz,” a swing, a slide, a sandbox, mountain go-karts, Bobby Cars, and balance bikes.
And here’s what else is available on our farm and in the surrounding area:
- Tractor rides for guests of all ages
- Introductory weeks during the off-season
- Local restaurant
- Tea ceremony (by arrangement)
And in case of bad weather, we’ll be happy to put together our “Rainy Day Box” for you upon request.

Pets are not allowed.

In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find swimming pools, fitness centers, fishing, surfing, and sailing opportunities, as well as a water-skiing facility in Hooksiel. The Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, is just a 10-minute drive away. The Wadden Sea is a unique natural landscape. In June 2009, the Wadden Sea was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Jever attracts visitors with many sights: the brewery, the castle, the indigo dyeing workshop, and the shops still run by their owners all invite you to visit.
