Cozy, Central and a Wonderful Host

I’m a solo female traveler on a flexible itinerary through Europe, and I always look for three things: safety, warmth, and centrality. I booked this spot last-minute, on my way from Brussels, and within an hour Maggy welcomed me with open arms. She’s absolutely lovely—friendly, kind, and a truly wonderful host. The townhome itself is stunning and secure. My room was immaculate, designed with the style of a modern apartment, complete with plenty of closet space, a spacious shower, and even a small balcony - but it’s a 16 min walk to the “best balcony in Europe.” The location couldn’t be better - time of free public transport or an 15 min walk to everything worth seeing. A ton of restaurants from every country and supermarkets! The bed was aooo comfy and I slept like a baby! I stayed for two days, and honestly, if Luxembourg had more going on, I would have happily extended my stay by a week because it has been a while since I felt “homey”! Maggy struck the perfect balance of being warm and welcoming without ever being intrusive, always available to answer questions or offer advice. Traveling solo, having a friendly face and a beautiful home base makes all the difference. This place truly lifted my spirits. Thank you so much, Maggy!

echt een paar fijne dagen in Luxemburg gehad, vanuit een prettig, goed verzorgd gastenhuis.

De locatie op loopafstand van de oude binnenstad. De kamer was prima en heel schoon. De gastvrouw was vriendelijk. De stad Luxemburg heel mooi. Dat alles verdient een 9.

Het lawaai van opstijgende vliegtuigen was angstaanjagend. Maar dat zal iedereen in stad Luxemburg overkomen, want het vliegveld ligt er zeer dichtbij. Het verkeer in de straat was ook nogal luidruchtig. Ik heb de eigenaresse geadviseerd oordopjes voor gasten neer te leggen. Ik had ze gelukkig bij me. Daardoor kon ik toch slapen. Je komt uiteindelijk toch vooral om daar te slapen.
