Smoked Kipper Cottage

Great, quiet location. Parking a bit hit and miss but could park close All the facilities you need

No small tables or anywhere to put drinks when in the lounge Hot water was a little illusive

This was perfect for our stay with family from abroad. Everything we needed. Managed to park right outside property clean and spacious for us. Location suited us fine.

With five of us it would have been good to have a separate toilet

Location was good, short walk to town centre. Little up hill to walk back to the cottage, but that's part of living in whitby.

Didn't realise outside area was Decking only, So unfortunately my dog won't toilet unless its grass. Which meant constantly having to boot up day and during the night to take her to toilet. Plus hot water was not constant, especially during a shower.

3 bedrooms all fair size , well stocked , very pleasant

Parking not brilliant , no tea towel(surprised by that). Place was freezing on arrival and the downstairs never warmed up (spent evenings in coats), up stairs was ok after a couple of days. Clothes rail still broken in top bedroom despite being mentioned in a post months ago , so that was unusable . Stairs steep with turns( not good for some guests especially will no hand rail . Lots of plates we found still dirty so we washed the lot
