Runaway Bay has the largest heated pool on Anna Maria Island with tennis court, pickle ball, workout/gym room and party room. The large fishing pier on the bay and closeness to the beautiful beaches on Anna Maria Island make this ideal for a family vacation or a romantic getaway!
NO CAR NEEDED! Leave your car in one of the two covered parking spaces and walk or take the free trolley up and down the Island exploring sunny beaches or unique beach watering holes and restaurants. Included are 4 beach/pool towels, 4 beach chairs, beach toys for the kids.

Great condo for three adults and my five year-old son. Really appreciate all of the beach towels, chairs, and toys which made packing for the trip so much easier.

First off I want to say that one has to be a sun/beach lover, walker or biker to love the island. Yes it does have beautiful beaches which we enjoyed and also the sunrises and the sunsets. First time there for both of us.
Your place was in a great location , across from beach access. The pool was nice too. Seems like nice people who stay there.
I would like to be truly frank about your place.
When I first walked in I thought this is nice, I always walk around and mostly look at the cleanliness of the place. I was not happy to see ant traps in the kitchen first thing. Rented a few other VRBO’s which both had ants and I was not happy. Didn’t see any at your place though luckily.
But last night I went into the 2nd bedroom and turned on the light and I saw an oval shaped bug, size of half dollar, yes I believe it to be a ROACH, crawl under one of the beds, I lost my mind. Closed the door and put two beach towels at the opening on the floor. Needless to say I couldn’t sleep all night. I don’t pay that amount of money to stay in a place that has bugs, of any kind. This is not acceptable. And when some things don’t work.
I’m thinking we need a refund. Or at least some Compensation….
Also, I cleaned houses for years and your place sadly needs some work in areas.
The LR furniture should be cleaned, the LR rug is quite dirty. The master BD fan light does not work, couldn’t turn on the fan in the 2nd bdrm, the general lighting throughout the place needs to be brightened. Hard to read at all the sitting areas.
Not sure if you realize, but the dishwasher makes alot of noise, wonder if it’s on its last leg. Your sliding glass door needs some WD 40, very hard to open, or maybe a new door?
And a big issue for us are the mattresses.
Oh my word…you need 3 newer firmer ones. With our backs, zero support. At one point we tried sleeping on the the bed closest to the window in the 2bdrm, “maybe a bit, firmer, not really, but too small for us in a double bed.
Not planning on coming back and cannot recommend your place to anyone.
Too many things need to be taken care of. Maybe a total upgrade?
I look forward to hearing back from you regarding some compensation or refund.
