Lovely apartment surrounded by greenery with a shared pool and an enchanting sea view, located at the foot of Mount Etna, just a few minutes drive from Catania.
This open-space apartment, situated on the ground floor, opens onto a bright living area furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, including a kettle and all necessary cooking tools, a breakfast bar table, a comfortable single sofa bed, and a TV. The sleeping area, separated from the living area by a wall, includes a queen-size bed, two nightstands with lamps, and a spacious wardrobe. The layout is completed by a bathroom with a shower.
The highlight of the apartment is the outdoor space, surrounded by countryside. It features a large picnic table with benches under a gazebo and an additional table with two chairs, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the landscape and sea view.
Guests will also have access to a laundry room with a washing machine, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi.
*The shared swimming pool is open from June 1st to September 30th. Please note that the use of a bathing cap may be required.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Giarre is a small town between Catania and Taormina, on the eastern coast of Sicily. Its position, halfway between the coast and Parco dell'Etna, makes it perfect for nature lovers who can enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or an amazing trekking on the volcano. The city boasts a beautiful historic center, rich in lava stone paving alleys along which it is possible to admire a wide range of buildings of architectural interest and which lead to the neuralgic point of the city, Piazza Duomo. Here, it is possible to contemplate the neoclassic-style Chiesa di Sant’Isidoro built entirely with white stone from Comiso. Another jewel of the city is the Chiesa di Gesù Lavoratore which features a reproduction of the Grotto of Lourdes with a Sicilian-shaped opening, from where the water flows into a pentagonal tub, that represents the five continents. Villa Garibaldi, with a wide range of historic buildings and parks, is worth a visit. Last, but not least, the Expo Food & Wine: is a fair about gastronomy and tasting of all kinds, which is held in November.
The airport of Catania is located just 40 minutes by car from the apartment, while the train station is around 8 minutes away.
