Are you planning to TRAVEL to Sicily? Do you want to FELL AS AT YOUR OWN HOME? "Charming Etna" is a welcoming short term rental house on the GROUND FLOOR recently refurbished with NEW AND MODERN FURNITURE, AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING. Perfect for couples, group of friends or families (6/7 GUESTS) who want to stay in a QUIET AREA where it’s easy to drive around the well known tourist sites or DISCOVER ETNA SURROUNDINGS.
The accommodation, on the ground floor, consists of TWO BEDROOMS: one with two SINGLE BEDS and a private bathroom, the other one with DOUBLE BED and an external bathroom just in front of the bedroom. In THE LIVING ROOM, wide and bright, a big SOFA could be used as a bed for TWO OTHER PEOPLE otherwise it could be the ideal SPACE TO RELAX yourself reading your preferred book or listening your favorite music. THE KITCHEN, modern and spacious, will welcome you with its intense color, the RED of the “volcano Etna”. It is FULLY EQUIPPED with new appliances (fridge, electric oven, microwave, boiler), cuttlery, spices and all you need to cook your favorite dish or some SPECIAL SICILIAN RECIPE (for this you can ask me! I love cook Sicilian dishes and sweets). Outside a wide and nice PATIO, rich of LOCAL PLANTS, where it’s possible sip a cocktail in the afternoon or have a dinner during hot days. THE FREE PRIVATE PARKING, just close to the entrance door, is very useful when you have to LOAD/UNLOAD your LUGGAGE or heavy shopping bags. It is completely at GUESTS DISPOSAL.

My purpose is guests can feel as at their home. For this reason I will be available during their stay giving them support for everything. I can suggest them places to visit, excursions to do, rental car, food to taste and other information to make the trip as comfortable as possible.
Our house is located in a STRATEGIC PLACE, only 1 km far from the MOTORWAY A18, the most important way to reach, by car, the chief popular pearls of the Ionian sea, Taormina and Giardini Naxos, or cities full of art, history and culture as Catania, Siracusa, Caltagirone, Ragusa. The house location is also ideal for both SEA AND MOUNTAIN LOVERS as it’s 15 minutes far from the beach and 40 minutes far from Etna Parks where it’s possible to make BREATHTAKING EXCURSIONS surrounded by the green of the nature and the black of the rocks. Driving around the small Etna villages, as Sant’Alfio, Milo and others, you can discover the “wine itineraries” visiting the most important WINERIES tasting and smelling the Sicilian best wines. Close to the house a bus stops to reach Giarre, a small city full of different shops and Riposto with its typical fish market, the Touristic Harbour and the train station. (Public transport doesn't work late in the evening and at night)

Beautiful huge place with parking right at the door and NO STAIRS!! Easy to get to and the apartment was clean with complimentary goodies! The host even came to meet us. Of the 5 rooms we rented all throughout Sicily, she was the only one that offered to greet us personally or use self check in. My friend and I were mentioning the day before how it would be nice to actually meet a host. So we chose to meet the host. The place is very clean and spacious with two washrooms and a beautiful terrace. Lots of channels on the TV and the shower is accommodating for plus size models like me. Some places had shower doors made for thin people only. The host even provided google map tips to go sightseeing which is very convenient cause Google Maps in Sicily could be a little complicated for tourists. We highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the neighborhood.

A beautifully decorated, spacious apartment in the shadow of Mount Etna. Giovanna is a wonderful host and was there to meet us on arrival and to bid us farewell when we left. She provided us with great information about places to visit and where to eat and was contactable, if needed throughout our stay. The apartment had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and was only a short walk from the small town of Macchia with it's small bars and pasticceria's and a great place to enjoy a drink on an evening. The location was perfect for us as we had a car which is a necessity for getting to the apartment and to make the most of the beautiful area.
