Es handelt sich um ein kleines liebevoll restauriertes Cottage inmitten von Feldern und etwa 4 km von Callac entfernt. Man braucht also zwingend ein Auto. Im unteren Stockwerk gibt es ein Wohnzimmer, eine offene Küche und ein Duschbad/Toilette. Über eine sehr steile Treppe gelangt man ins Obergeschoss mit zwei Schlafzimmern; eins mit Doppelbett und eins mit Einzelbetten. Oben alles mit Dachschrägen und Teppichboden. Alles irgendwie in sich stimmig und sehr nett dekoriert. Aussen gibt es einen großen Tisch mit Sonnenschirm und Stühlen; konnten wir wegen weitgehend schlechten Wetters kaum nutzen. Dazu einen wohl temperierten Pool plus Jacuzzi....Und viel Platz zum Draussensitzen und Sonnenbaden. Und es gab als sehr nette Geste noch einen Korb mit leckeren Lebensmitteln, weil wir eine Woche gebucht hatten; nochmal vielen Dank.
Die Ausstattung war soweit ganz in Ordnung, aber nicht besser. Siehe bitte unten.
Parken kein Problem. Wifi im Cottage okay; vor der Tür null. TV naturgemäß sehr viele engl. Sender. Ist völlig in Ordnung.
Wir hatten vielleicht in mehrerer Hinsicht Pech: Die englischen Gastgeber waren auch wie bei allen anderen Bewertungen beschrieben zu uns sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber wirkten dank Besuch von Freunden und ein paar anderer Verpflichtungen gestresst und hatten trotz guten Willens nicht viel Zeit für uns...Dazu herrschte bis auf den ersten Tag schlechtes Wetter, und teilweise haben wir innen auch abends gefroren (12-14 Grad aussen).
Es ist bei diesen alten Häusern manches nicht perfekt. Fenster schliessen nicht wirklich, und das untere Geschoss wirkte etwas klamm.
Bei der Ausstattung hat uns eine Geschirrspülmaschine gefehlt; bei ca. 170 Euro pro Tag sollte das schlicht Standard sein.
Und die Einzelbetten sind einfach zu kurz (nur für Kinder?).
Das Bad mit Toilette und Dusche ist winzig; ich kann mit 1,85 m kaum in der Dusche stehen. Zudem ist es vermutlich bauartbedingt nicht immer die wahre Freude, nachts über die geschilderte steile Treppe die Toilette heimzusuchen oder frühzeitig das Trinken einzustellen.....
GENERELL: Wir (60/70) sind vermutlich das falsche Publikum für dieses Cottage. Das ist etwas für Eltern plus zwei jüngere Kids, die noch nicht luxusverwöhnt und komfortbetont wie wir unterwegs sind. Die Vermieter geben sich gewiß normalerweise sicher viel Mühe, aber es geht hier um einen aktuellen Erfahrungsbericht ohne persönliche Sympathie. Don't worry, Paula and Andy.

Beautiful property and grounds to explore. Wonderful hosts who have gone the extra mile to ensure you have a good time. Pool, hot tub, badminton, archery, darts, firepit marshmallows, big poolside games like jenga and connect four. Acres of woodland to explore and wildlife a plenty.
I have nothing bad to say. The hosts were always on hand to help or fix anything that went wrong. They really made it a memorable and relaxing stay for us and the kids.

Lovely gite, small but comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful hosts who could not have done more to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything that we needed. Fantastic swimming pool and hot tub plus other facilities. Central location - about an hour to most of the coastal resorts; but we loved it so much we spent most of our week staying home and enjoying the pool.
