About this villa rental
Villa Tikali, located in a quiet residential area of Bouillante, is a property renovated in 2022.
Indeed, for your comfort, work has been carried out, deck around the pool completely redone, the furniture, crockery as well as bed linen and towels are all quality and new.
Classified as a 4-star furnished tourist accommodation by Atout France, it will offer you standing and comfort thanks to its outdoor facilities and facilities.
Villa Tikali offers a breathtaking 180° view from its large 60 m2 terrace, without vis-à-vis, on the mountains and the Caribbean Sea with the pigeon islets of the famous Cousteau Reserve, Guadeloupe National Park Reserve.
You can enjoy a pretty garden with trees as soon as you arrive and all around the villa: traveller's tree, alpinia, balisier, royal palm, yellow alamanda, cycads, bougainvillea and many other pretty plants

You will be 5 minutes by car from the beach, where you can discover the superb seabed with turtles that are never far away!
You enter the villa first arriving in the beautifully decorated living room.
You continue and then arrive in the fully equipped kitchen with a very nice central island.
Large bay windows that you can open will allow you to enjoy a beautiful large terrace with a table that can accommodate 10 people as well as a small lounge for aperitifs while enjoying the magnificent sunsets.
You can then access the two large air-conditioned bedrooms of 27m2 with 160 beds each with a dressing room and the 2 smaller air-conditioned bedrooms with dressing room also with 2 single beds which can be installed as a 160 bed on request.
You will have 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower and toilet, with a single sink in one and a double sink in the second.
A mezzanine will allow you to store belongings such as your suitcases or your diving gear for divers coming equipped on our island.
From the terrace you can access via a staircase or go down to the pool area.
A large deck will go around it and you can sit in the sun or in the shade on deckchairs while looking at the sea.
On this level, a barbecue area is also being finished with a Weber charcoal barbecue.
Villa Tikali is located in the town of Bouillante, home of the famous Cousteau reserve, but also reserve of the Guadeloupe National Park. The site is exceptional to enjoy scuba diving or simply discover the seabed with fins mask and snorkel! The location is ideal for visiting Guadeloupe. You are about 40 minutes from Grande Terre, 40 minutes from Deshaies and 40 minutes from Basse-Terre. Malendure beach is accessible on foot or by car; it is part of the Cousteau reserve. Many water activities are available in Malendure. Turtles are visible a few fathoms from the beach. All amenities are 5 minutes by car from the house (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, gas station...) but also restaurants and many water activities: beach, kayaking, diving, cetacean outings, glass-bottom boat. You can also cool off at the river in the middle of the tropical forest in 10 minutes on foot!
A 10% discount will be offered on the second week for a stay of 14 nights.
A concierge service will allow you to take care of your stay. Several offers will be offered to you such as shopping/a meal for your arrival, the organization of activities...

We loved our 2 weeks at this villa. Everything is as described. It was our first time in Guadaloupe but we have stayed at villas all over the Caribbean.
It was lovely to come home to the refreshing pool after a day of sightseeing. There is a lot of privacy and the view is magnificent. We felt very safe, as we did everywhere in Guadeloupe. The kitchen is well equipped. Emily the concierge was helpful and professional. When the internet failed (due to a windstorm) she dropped what she was doing and arrived immediately to fix it.
The only thing we found a bit odd (owner's choice I guess) was that very few basics are provided. i.e. one garbage bag, one toilet roll, one hotel-sized body wash, no laundry detergent, for a 2 week stay is not something we have encountered before in other villas. But not a big deal to purchase, as we were buying groceries anyway. And perhaps this policy helps reduce needless waste. NB: Pool/beach towels not provided but we had brought our own.
We would definitely stay at Tikali again. We miss our little bird friends from the terrace. Merci from Canada.

The pictures do this place no justice. The view is incredible and the villa was immaculate. I would recommend this place for anyone. The small town feel here is perfect. Lots to do and many places to eat. Our concierge Emy was amazing and very helpful. We will return without question

We had a great time and definetely would recommend the villa for the sunset by the pool or the second level patio. Definetely the perfect setting for outdoor living. Perfectly located if you want to be in the mountains and enjoy the sea, scuba diving and hiking.
Emily took excellent care of us, very responding and a great source of information !
