Location!!! View!!! Property manager!!!! This area was hands down our favorite from our trip (we were in St Francois area then visited Le Saints, Deshaies, St Claude). The view from these apartments is absolutely stunning. You have a constant view of the pigeon islands from your bed/balcony/breakfast table. The physical location of the place is also an incredible selling point. It is about four minutes drive to some of the best snorkeling beaches in Basse Terre- it is close to grocery stores, it’s close to calm beaches, it’s close to excursion centers but far enough away from the main road and congested parking and noise that you can relax and take in the scenery and peacefulness. It is the perfect place to set up base to explore the island. May (the property manager) is wonderful- she went above and beyond her job requirements- she arranged to let us stay 2 extra nights when our flights got rescheduled, she had our washer replaced with a brand new one when we were having washing machine problems, she called our rental car company and got our rental extended (we hardly speak any French), she also booked us Le saints ferry tickets and set up a whale watching tour for us as well. She was amazingly helpful, hardworking and positive. She took care of us and we’d come back just to see her again. Cedric also works on the property and although we only met him briefly you can tell that these people are genuine.

The bathrooms are a little outdated but it’s a small price to pay for such a great place.
