Warm, beds were comfortable, clean lovely sunny garden
Coffee machine . Lovely little extras like coffee pods , dishwasher tabs. Washing up liquid Dishcloth , tea towels etc
Kitchen well stocked
2 bathrooms were very clean and showers ran well .
Loved being able to pop into village without getting in car
The house is cosy and well decorated and if the small issues were corrected the house would be perfect .
No hooks on back of doors in bathroom or bedroom to hang towels or dressing gown, no shelf in either bathrooms to put skincare etc no blind in indoor bathroom window
Blind in bathroom attached to window so couldn’t open window and close blind also couldn’t use window ledge ,
Mirror in bathroom no where near sink so difficult to have a shave .
Pillows protectors need a wash , and blood on mattress protector
Quilt on bed without en-suite is stained too
2 clear plastic dinning chairs cracked and one had been sellotaped but catches clothing
No Instructions for oven hob, dishwasher, heating etc no washing line. No indoor broom
Dinner plates too big for dishwasher.
Parking was a nightmare… very very unfriendly people in road we were supposed to park in… we arrived in the light about 4.00 in afternoon. Parked on road , not causing any kind of blockage , woke up at about 6.30 next morning to a lot of swearing and shouting , it became evident that the occupants of Lindisfarne Road , the road we are supposed to park in are very possessive about the road space outside their houses , leaving anything including old bikes and plastic cones outside to reserve parking and blocking cars in if they did . The lady next door to us explained that the parking was a nightmare and she lived here and still always had a problem also apparently we were expected to park on the grass , which to get on had no lowered kerb and because our car is quite low hit the bottom when we tried , also a big 4x4 parked across the grass making it impossible to do so even if we had wanted to.
It was stressful and unpleasant and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome . We would not stay here again for that reason .
Most of the little things that need doing would be simple to fix, and obviously the cleanliness of the bedding etc is down to the cleaning company. We realise you can’t fix the unpleasant residents of Lindisfarne Road but maybe a parking permit?

It was good to be in the centre of Bamburgh village and the location was quiet. We loved having an enclosed garden for our dog. The cottage was warm (in icy conditions) and the bed was comfortable. It was good to have some items left for our use in the kitchen (milk, eggs, tea and coffee) and the kitchen was well equipped.
The bedrooms are small, we were only two and needed to use the second bedroom for luggage. Parking is on road and not close to the cottage, which needs to be taken into account for loading and off-loading. We did not have problems finding a spot that didn't block others - but this could be an issue in a busy period.

Nothing at all to dislike, absolutely perfect.

The location, the beds and cleanliness.
The boiler made a very loud noise inside the bedroom which made it impossible to sleep while the shower was being used.
We tried to contact the number provided on the reservation to make a special request and no one responded.
