Gorgeous house, magnificent castle, spectacular beach one of my favourite places.

Beautifully appointed well equipped spacious house. Garden is lovely beneath the backdrop of the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. Just a short walk over the sand dunes to the amazing beach. Lovely hamper of goodies on arrival.

Bamburgh is a small village that caters to day trippers visiting the castle so it is extremely busy during the day but is much less busy in the evening. Prices in the village reflect this and there are no supermarkets and no takeaway/deliveries so be prepared to eat out or go to Seahouses for supplies although this is just a short drive along the coast.

Perfect stay to celebrate an engagement.

Location is amazing. Plenty of comfy beds to fit 18 people. Enough parking for 5 cars. Plenty of good pubs, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

What a fantastic place this is we are booked to go back with family for Xmas and I can't wait, when we arrived I noticed the bq was a bit small for 13 people but all it took was a phone call and a lovely new one was delivered thank you so much x

We had a great family weekend, at a beautiful house.

The location was excellent, nearby for leisure, beach, shops and tourist areas.

Nothing major, but there were no dish towels or wash cloths in the kitchen. And once we had found a hidden drawer within a drawer we had cutlery !!!

Only negative was the rear garden was not secure. Small children or dogs could quite easily wander down the driveway and on to the main road

Exceptional property, exceptional location. Fabulous property for a gathering of friends and family. We all agreed that we hope we can manage to get together again in Castle View. Plenty of space to have a moment on your own if needed. Facilities were top notch.

it’s not a dislike, more a personal preference. it would have been better if the Garden area was enclosed for our dog, but that’s all.

Lovely house, perfect location, needs better cleaners

Perfect location, large house with plenty of room and facilities. The rooms were comfortable and the outdoor space well looked after. There was a nice welcome basket when we arrived.

Not particularly clean. Some rubbish in one of the bins. The sinks in a couple of rooms didn't seem to have been cleaned. The washing machine wasn't working. At the end of the stay you have to strip all the beds and pillows etc and bag them up yourself then separately bag up all the towels and leave them for the cleaners, this isn't the ideal end to a holiday especially when you have a number of children to entertain while doing this.

Great weekend in a perfect place.

I loved everything about St Aidan's, the location is amazing, its like Bamburgh Castle is in your garden the view is unbelievable , the house itself is decorated to a high standard, each room has a huge comfy kingsize bed (apart from the twin room) and all are en-suite, two with baths. Everything has been thought of, 13 of us stayed in the house and didn't get in each others way, there is so much space. Highly recommend, cant wait to go back.

the only thing I disliked about the property is that I had to leave.
