Smugglers Loft

Smugglers Loft is in a great location by the Looe river and quay but also in amongst the many cafe's, restaurants and bars. We loved the views from both sides of Smugglers Loft, it was a bright sunny and cosy space. It was also very quiet given how close to the town we were. It was busy on the Saturday night we arrived with many bars having live music, but we couldn't hear anything in the flat. The door code was easy to use, and the stairs up to the front door had landings in between which were helpful to rest on. My Mum (78yrs) was able to take them slowly as they aren't steep and they are wide. Jayne was very helpful and quick to respond to any of my texts and questions. We were very touched that a cream tea, bottle of fizz and a welcome had been left for us. The flat was very clean, with thoughtful touches like the extra blankets in the wicker box in the lounge, heated towel rail in the bathroom. We would definitely stay again if back in Looe. Smugglers Loft became a home from home.

I came with my Mum who slept in the double room, I slept in the single bed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, however the room is on the small side, but it feels cosy. It's a room to sleep in , but not one to be lounging in. I am 1m 65cm tall and if I was a bit taller I would have found that my feet would have dangled from the end of the bed. It's probably more a room designed for a smaller child/teenager. Having said all of that, I would happily sleep in it again

Great location to explore all of Looe and very close to the beach and shopping. Lovely and clean with everything that you could need with a wonderful view from the living room window. Great to have a private car parking space in the garage if you have a small car.

There are a lot of steps up to the property so need to be prepared for that when taking luggage up. Lovely view though so worth it! Seagulls were noisy quite early in the morning but to be expected by the sea!

40 steps staircase. Bed was too small and uncomfortable

A very clean and comfortable space with all required amenities. The hosts have considered guests needs. Loved that it had a room for the washing machine and tumble dryer.

We couldn’t find the external rubbish bins.
