Central, Cosy , Compact & Convenient

The cottage was thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and we really enjoyed our NYE stay in Looe. It was easy to unload nearby and our supermarket delivery found us easily too.

Waste & Recycling facilities were not clear or available and we ended up taking ours all home (we were relatively local) and minded to be responsible.

Perfect location

Hosts were welcoming and friendly, the property is in the heart of town literally couldn’t be better. Everything you could need for a long weekend including amenities.

Parking should be more transparent before booking to manage packing expectations for those who have more limited mobility or with children, but it is only a couple of minutes walk so manageable otherwise. It gets quite noisy until pub closes at 10:30pm-11pm. Unfortunately the damp was particularly bad during our stay on the middle floor despite taking appropriate precautions, particularly in the single beds room, to the extent my sister had to stay in another location. A small dehumidifier was provided but it probably needs a stronger one. A shame as the property aside from this was perfectly clean and accommodating.

Super location in East Looe! The hosts have really put a lot of effort in making the house comfortable and equipped with everything you might need.

Tucked away gem

Location was spot on, property was great , view over estuary from top floor was lovely.

That the only view was from the top floor but it is tucked away so only to be expected. Tucked away in a great location right in the heart of everything.

Lovely stay in Looe, amazing hosts

The hosts were really amazing. They text me before we arrived so I had their number. We did have a few things to query during our stay e.g. the keysafe, the heating etc. The responded every time with helpful instructions (even at 9pm!) And sorted the heating for us remotely from their hive app. I really appreciated this kind of responsiveness and it meant that minor issues didn't have any impact on our trip away, as we were helped so quickly. The location is smack bang in the middle of everything in Looe so perfect to explore the area. There were lots of little extras in the house for families, like highchair, stairgate, travel cot, which meant I could have my two year old there and not pack up the whole house in order to make sure he's safe and got what he needs.

I didn't realise there were quite so many stairs ( 3 storey house) and as there's no parking right outside, the only downside was parking a long way away (the closest carpark was £10/£15 a night so had to park much further away) and then having to do a few trips with all the bags of stuff and then up the flights of stairs. But this isn't anything the property owners can fix, its just something for future customers to be aware of so you can prepare properly for it (cases on wheels, pack light etc).
