The location and the clean room
We have been here looking for a special family time for Christmas, coming on porpoise from Tunisia. We arrived and had to wait in the cold and in the dark for minutes before someone came to open the door even if they saw us arriving. We entered. The atmosphere was horrible. No welcoming, no place where to stay except the bedroom and the dining room only at breakfast time.
The works on site ( for a new part of the restaurant) . The restaurant was not running. Above all we have been very badly welcome and we felt bad. It was Christmas time and there was not a decoration, not some Christmas music.... Breakfast was cheap, always the same with a few little pieces of cheese and slices of cold cuts displayed on the tray since the early morning on the table was not covered or protected from other people or dust or any contamination. Same thing for the "juice" and croissant ( hard and dry and cold by the time it was breakfast) and home made cake ( this nice but so Small bites not enough for all of us). Plus hearing from our room the 2 owners screaming and shouting for a long argument was far too much for a family, arriving from Tunisia to the famous Cortina to enjoy their Christmas holiday with their 4 years old kid. When I tried to explain to the owner that we were expecting something different, he jumped immediately to his conclusion and he said he didn't care if we wanted to stay or to go because we had to pay no matter how, since we made the reservation with booking! I was completely shocked, therefore I have called the booking customer desk. Unfortunately we had to stay at the Agriturismo so as not to lose 600 Euro, the amount the owner wanted to charge us without letting us stay even a night in case of cancellation. We stayed there. The location was beautiful but nothing else. We will never be back and we cannot recommend it.

Gorgeous location encircled by mountains. Warm and comfortable bedroom which opened to outdoors for viewing mountains. Breakfast was included which was nice.
The bathroom was very dark, suggest extra lighting to put on makeup 😊

The rooms had a lovely seating area with an amazing view out to the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Rooms were huge, all timber, which smelled amazing. There was a mini fridge which was helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. We'd seen some reports of bed bugs but the owner advised they had shut down and fumigated before our arrival and happy to report no issues. Bathroom was spacious like the room. You really are on a farm, when we'd open the window of an evening you'd go to bed listening to cow bells and the river.
It is a little way out of town so i think you'd need a car really. Plenty of onsite parking.
The rooms can be a little noisy, particularly in the morning as the owners get up and about (they live upstairs i think) as well as other travellers. Wasn't an issue for us but light sleepers may struggle.
The addition of a luggage rack would be super helpful.

When we first arrived around 7:00pm, the host (probably the owner) was waiting for us to do the check in, show us the room, the restaurant and the code to entry door. The man only spoke Italian with us which made the experience even more charming and authentic. He was also the one preparing the breakfast every morning, sometimes alone and sometimes with a lady that spoke English well. It's a family hotel, simple, rustic, but also classy, very comfortable, clean and cute. It's located only a few minutes from downtown. We loved the room, the privacy of the place and the breakfast. But what we loved the most was the scenic view from our window, the spacious room, comfortable bed, and specially the family of deers that were in the field 2 nights that we were coming back from downtown. Seeing the wildlife just when you're arriving "home" is absolutely priceless! We stayed for 8 nights in the middle of october and we couldn't have chosen a better place!
It can be a little noisy in the morning, as the rooms are really next to each other, the wooden walls are thin, and the cleaning staff need to do their job after every check out.

The hotel knew they had a recent bed bugs problem, but said it's no longer an issue. However, they could not guarantee that I would not encounter bed bugs in my room. I wanted to cancel the booking but hotel wouldn't provide a refund.

We had the loveliest overnight stay here! We had just completed hiking 7 days on the Alta Via 1, exhausted and excited to shower and sleep in real beds. Our room was spacious and so comfortable, we even had our own outdoor space with a table and two chairs to enjoy the views and shade. Even with the language barrier with staff, our hosts were more than accommodating and happy to help us! We found them friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning felt like luxury - pre-set tables with the loveliest spread, cappuccinos and juice, and delicious fresh scrambled eggs. Although the restaurant was closed for the season, we ordered pizza delivery from a local spot and were not disappointed. We liked how the location was quiet and with beautiful landscape, with the convenience of being close to town.

The hotel stored our bags for us while we went on a hike. The breakfast was also nice.
I was charged twice for the reservation. Once by Booking.com then the hotel said I had to pay again because they couldn’t see the payment on the system. They said they would refund me the money if the second charge cleared, no problem. I showed them the double charge when we came to collect our bags but they said there was nothing they could do at that time, and to contact Booking.com. I emailed Booking.com and they said to contact the hotel. Sending me in circles. The hotel has been incredibly unhelpful in resolving the issue. I have emailed multiple times now with not even an acknowledgement. I also have no response from Booking.com. I now have to escalate the charge with my bank, as my only option left to resolve this fraud.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very lovely. The breakfast was amazing every morning with a large variety of sweet and savory options. The view out the balcony of our room onto the mountain was stunning. The accommodation is just a short walk into town.
Absolutely nothing. It was all perfect.

Quiet little hotel/ refuge? just above Cortina. Great views. Great beds! And very quiet. The owner speaks no English so uses his phone to translate with you. Would stay again.

Great breakfast with pastries on the table and able to order fried/scrambled eggs, yogurt and cheese/ham. Staff was very friendly too. Super room view too, looking straight at the mountain.
The road to get up to the Jagerhaus was a little narrow and difficult. There was also a sharp turn to go from the main road to the side road - it was easy to miss on the first time as well.

The room has an excellent view of the mountains. The quality of construction is excellent. Triple pane windows and everything is made out of solid wood. Quite remarkable. The property is part of a working dairy farm but the rooms do not face the barn. The smell from the barn did not reach our room. The room was quiet and dark, which was nice for sleeping.
The staff speaks very limited English, which made communicating difficult. The room was very sparse, with no coffee/tea available in the room. The breakfast was included in the room. Besides eggs, the entire breakfast consisted of pieces of bread, sweet breads, pastries, jams and a croissant: eggs and carbohydrates. We would have liked a little more variation in the offerings. Also, there was no sign of coffee or tea on the tables or in the breakfast area. A waiter came to take our orders for coffee, by offering "cappuccino, americano, espresso... We accepted the offer for cappuccino and it was very good. When checking out, a modest price per coffee drink (2 euro) was added to the cost. This small amount is very modest for such a drink, but we would have just taken a regular drip coffee if it was offered. It was never offered. With a challenging language barrier, we decided not to question their approach and just paid the bill. The amount was small, but we did not like the way this was handled.

- The rooms were very cozy and the patio had a great view of some of the hills.
- You aren't to far from the town and several great hikes within the area.
- It is located in a very quiet area
- The breakfast in the morning was the best one we had during out entire trip!
- I wish we had stayed for more than just 1 night.
Not a negative point, but I wanted to share that the road to get to the location is a bit confusing, you'll have to go around some other properties, but once you do the drive once it is easy to remember and then know what to expect!

Loved this cozy place with fantastic restaurant and incredible views. The room was very comfortable and I loved the wool blankets on the chairs outside so we could stay warm while enjoying the Mountain Views.
we also liked visiting the animals nearby at the farm and watch the cattle come for dinner.
nothing.

liked the location in the nature a little bit out of center of Cortina, excellent views on Tofana and Mt Cristallo, delicious breakfast and dinner, very nice rooms with warm wooden decoration and terrace

Interior of the rooms and the hotel as a whole looked expensive and tasteful. The location of the hotel is beautiful as there are views of mountains straight from your room. Breakfast was served by a waiter and you get a couple of options from which to choose from. Food and coffee was really good.
There was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen after the restaurant closed at around 22:00 and the staff cleaned up. Our room was right next to the kitchen and I could tell the walls were soundproofed, but still - minor inconvenience.

Farm in a quiet location, only 5 minutes by car from the center of Cortina. Excellent and large selection of food for breakfast. Large and beautiful rustic rooms with exit to the green area in front of the apartment.
If you want to walk into town, it's a bit too far..
