About this house rental
Get away from it all in our unique mountain home. Soaring two story living room with stunning stonework and beams is a fabulous gathering space. Step outside to our deck and enjoy the mountain air. Relax in the hot tub or around the firepit and roast some marshmallows or look for shooting stars.
Fantastic location just minutes to Black Mountain "Prettiest small town in America" and 20 mins to downtown Asheville. Yet feel like your away from it all.
Come enjoy a stay in this unique mountain home. Gather with friends and family in the stunning two story great room. Enjoy our private 1 acre lot with decks, hot tub, gas grill and fire pit. Two master suites with kings beds and onsuite bathrooms as well as a 3rd King room and additional queen room.
Pets welcome with a $75 pet fee. Max 2 pets Additional pets considered
Guests have full access to the entire house and 1 acre property. No shared spaces.
We do not typically interact directly with guests during their stay but are just a phone call away if needed.
Our house sits in a rural area less than 5 minutes to downtown Black Mountain and 20 minutes to downtown Asheville.
A car is highly suggested however you should be able to get a ride share from this location.

We had an amazing stay here for our family reunion! The house was super cozy and spacious, and the hosts were communicative/helpful if we needed anything. The driveway coming in is a tight dirt road so be cautious! We also saw bears in the backyard a few times which was a cool experience. Be safe and don’t leave food outside. Overall an awesome experience!

Had a little trouble getting into property. Manager was very helpful and quick to respond. Once inside place was great. Clean, stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds!Would definitely rent again!

The pictures provided are of the property “at its best”. The cabin needs some TLC to repair window seals, replace falling/broken tile, replace or repair some appliances (refrigerator ice and water not working and handle broken, oven rack missing, etc) and update/improve lighting. It could use a good deep clean to get rid of cobwebs, freshen basement, wipe down ceiling fans, and clean off windows to improve view. The road to the house was a surprise and should probably be mentioned as steep and narrow (we had a big SUV). The supplies were not fully stocked and beds were not made upon our arrival. Bears also got into the trash from previous guests and it was all over the yard. The hosts were very responsive and apologetic about the arrival conditions and corrected it as soon as possible. It was a nice stay but not exactly what we were expecting.
