Upon entering the cabin, you face spectacular 30 foot ceilings and your grand large living area … If you love to cook enjoy two fully stocked Kitchens one of which has a Commercial grade stove and the other with a island cooktop and dual ovens..... With more than enough entertainment space indoor and outdoor this property has a Game Loft with Pool and Blackjack, the downstairs has a Game and Entertainment lounge with a Ping Pong Table Wii, Board Games, and a newly renovated theatre room with custom built bunk beds and 8 luxury chairs to enjoy any movie you`d like. Outside the large wrap around deck has a 7 person Hotub and plenty of seating for your group. Enjoy your private 5 acre oasis roasting marshmallows at the firepit, throwing Disc Golf, or relaxing in the hammocks...... or drive 2 miles to downtown Black Mountain and enjoy the breweries, eateries, and shops that make us Trip Advisor’s “prettiest small town in America.”

At 5,600 square feet, this rare gem has an extraordinary experience and more than enough space to comfortably accommodate your group. Many who come to this area seek regionally famous attractions: Asheville (20 min), the Biltmore Estate (20 min), the Blue Ridge Parkway (20 min), Mt Mitchell State Park (1 hr), and the Smokies (1 hr)….all within striking distance. Yet, most who stay with us, instead, fall in love with our small, quirky, magical town...Black Mountain, (the center of town is only a 5 minute drive). With its growing reputation as a small town resort, Black Mountain has become the most visited Asheville satellite (per capita) in the region, and an outdoor mecca. With Montreat village only 5 minutes from the house, offering quick access to Pisgah National Forest trails, our once secluded small town has become one of the most sought after destinations in Western North Carolina.
Visit MT Mitchell, at 6,684 ft of elevation the highest and most visited peak on the east coast in roughly a 1.5 hour trip…one of the most breath-taking and unforgettable drives on the eastern seaboard.

I provide coffee along with creamer and sugar.... For the kitchen-cooking oils and spices, a Blender and all the necessary tools to prep quality meals for you and your family. In regard to the house, there is Netflix and Hulu. There is no smoking or vaping inside, but instead please enjoy your smokes on the private deck. For families-disc golf, board games, and books. For everyone else a hot tub at 104 degrees.
★ Living room (main level): Wall of windows facing the private 5 acres the Cabin is situated on. 65” smart tv with big couch for large gatherings. Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming services are provided.
★ Two Fully equipped kitchens with a premium 8-burner range and a double oven downstairs. Hamilton Beech coffee machine, Crockpot, and toaster. Main level kitchen has seating for 4 on a large island.
★ Dining area (main level): Dining table for 8. Bar seating for 4. A separate smaller dining table downstairs with seating for 6.
★ Private Game & Entertainment Lounge (lower level) which has ping pong, wii, board games, and 70” smart tv.
★ Game room (upper level) with a blackjack table, pool table, spacious work desk and chair for working remotely. Board games: Monopoly, Yahtzee, Uno

Grand cabin review from 10 Adults for 6 nights.Multiple areas of the home and property need replacing/maintenance/ and repair, inside and out.Number of towels was not adequate for 10 staying 6nights/7 days. Downstairs kitchen is not supplied with utensils or cookware.Stairwell railing going up and downstairs is loose.Railing to the loft is also loose.Ice maker does not work properly. Ice goes everywhere. Ice bin is broken and taped. Tea kettle leaked.Downstairs thermostat could not be adjusted which made temperatures uncomfortable.Lots of dirt under Rug under upstairs dining room table. No shower/tub safety rails.Number of bedrooms is deceptive. There are three bedrooms with their own bathroom. The fourth bedroom guests must share the bathroom in the hallway with all other downstairs guests that sleep on cots, sofa, and bunks. The theater has a bunkbed (not adult friendly, and the ladder to the upper bunk is not child safe).The theater DVD player was broken. As were some cabinets in the living room and also kitchen cabinet trim. Chairs in the loft were coming apart. Furniture on the balcony outside of the house was quite soiled. There was a broken swing, and chairs at the fire pit area had bent legs.The positive side : The hot tub was a highlight . Serene views. The host was responsive to all messages. Lots of privacy. Lots of parking. Ping-pong table and pool table were fun. I would say the whole place is quite roomy and well laid out.

House was layout and very spacious. We had enough room for our group of ladies from our church. The only thing, not enough covers for the ones who slept on the couch. A lot of chairs were stained and loose, whoever is in charge should take an inventory of all chairs, etc. as repairs are much needed there. One toilet was missing the lid on the tank, and it wouldn't flush. Swings looked nice at the fire pit, but we were afraid to sit in them because the swings, were coming apart, and had cracks in them. Overall we enjoyed the house, we just had to be careful of where we sat. We would definitely stay there again, if repairs were made.

The host was very responsive; however this house has so many good qualities but it could be great. The kitchen is lacking, not enough coffee cups, serving dishes oven mits. Downstairs has nothing in it. Ovens downstairs were off temperature. Host did run out to buy new silverware so we had enough during our stay. The house could use hooks on the back of doors to hang wet towels, black sheets in master, make you think something is not clean (never saw black sheets) definitely not enough towels, sofa in living room could use a cleaning. the house has the size, we were 13 and the grandkids loved it (teenagers).
