We stayed for two nights. I initially thought we were booked in a hotel, but it turned out to be an old apartment beside it. At first, I was a bit disappointed, but it was actually very spacious, which was a nice surprise.
We arrived early for check-in, and the receptionist was very kind he even offered us coffee and baklavas while we waited. However, when we returned at 4 PM, we still had to wait another 30 minutes because the room wasn’t ready yet.
The place is decent, but it feels more like an old Airbnb than a hotel. The room got quite cold at night since the heaters weren’t working, and in the morning, the air-conditioning in the main room didn’t work either. It was clean, but not spotless.
The best thing about the property is its location — a lively street full of restaurants and just walking distance to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and other main attractions.
Would I stay again? Maybe not, but for the price, it was reasonable overall.
