New listing! Entire house 1 mile from Old Town Bluffton and 1/2 mile from Brighton Beach nestled close to the May River. Lots of privacy with houses spaced far apart and surrounded by wooded area. 4 bedrooms (Master: king bed, 2nd bedroom: king bed, 3rd bedroom: trundle bed with roll away in closet, 4th: queen bed)
🦪 Our house is located on a quiet street a few houses up from the May River - one (1) mile from Old Town Bluffton, 14 miles from Hilton Head Island, 35 miles from Savannah, 12 miles from Palmetto Bluff, and a 25 minutes water taxi ride to Daufuskie Island.
Nearby you have the famous Church of the Cross, Bluffton Oyster Company, The Hayward House and Museum, several Wildlife refuges and excursions, Burnt Church Distillery, several art galleries, boutiques, wonderful restaurants and nightlife, and other historic sites.
🚨 Please be aware that the community dock at the end of the street is unfortunately NOT for guest use.
🏖 There is a very small public beach called Alljoy Beach 1/2 of a mile from the house. It is pluff mud mixed with sand and there are lots of oyster shells. Hilton Head Island beaches are about 20 minutes away.
⛈ Please be aware that it is not uncommon for the power to go out during thunderstorms.
🚨 Please note that this is an older home surrounded by a somewhat wooded area, so you will occasionally see bugs, however, the house is PEST CONTROLLED. While you may already be aware, it’s very hard in the Lowcountry of South Carolina to avoid seeing a palmetto bug 🪳 in any house occasionally. While we haven’t yet received any complaints, if this is a concern, please do not book with us.
