Atanga View is a relaxing and stylish 2 bedroom, centrally located apartment offering stunning lake and mountain views, within walking distance to central Queenstown!
The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is tastefully decorated and opens onto a balcony with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for those long summer evenings. Enjoy the amazing views of Lake Wakatipu & Cecil peak. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and has everything that you need.
Atanga View has two spacious bedrooms with large wardrobes. The master bedroom be configured as King bed or split into singles for individuals travelling together. Atanga View has a stylish bathroom with a vanity, large shower, toilet and underfloor heating.
Heating is no issue with wall panel heaters are in each bedroom and hallway, as well as a heat pump in the lounge for those chilly winter nights.
Skis, snowboards & bikes can be stored in the lockable storage unit downstairs. Free parking on site for one vehicle. The access to the property is through the garage door and then going up through internal stairs to level 2. Note: there is no lift in the building.
Guest will have access to the whole apartment. Guests can arrive at their own leisure anytime after 3pm as the self check-in details for the property are emailed to you 5 days prior your arrival. There`s no personal meet & greet for this property.
Linen & Towels, Wifi and basic set-up consumables are included.

My husband, our teen daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The construction is pretty heavy duty outside, but it didn't happen over the weekend and it wrapped up early each day. We didn't hear any noise from it. The view is fantastic as is the proximity to town. Yes, the hill to walk up is a bit steep, but it's just for 1 block. It was great to have full laundry facilities. Communication was very easy too. Would love to stay here again.

The unit itself is excellent and is exactly as described in the listing. The wrap-around all glass wall facing the south and west allows dramatic views over the town, the lake and the mountains beyond. The view is especially great at dusk and at night. The bathroom shower has a large west-facing window allowing direct sunlight in the afternoon. We didn't eat there, but the kitchen is well-equipped and coffee was provided.
Unfortunately, when we arrived in early March we couldn't get there. The road up the hill was totally blocked by an extensive underground construction project, and even after driving around we couldn't get to the parking. We ended up parking 3 blocks away and walking all of our luggage to the unit. The construction clearly isn't the fault of the owner, but the work had been ongoing for more than a week and the management company could have been more proactive in preparing us for the difficulty in accessing the property. And there was further miscommunication about several other issues, so all in all a frustrating and non-welcoming experience.
Also, it should be noted that if you're planning to walk to town the hill is very steep. We did this often, but guests with mobility issues might have difficulties.

We were thrilled we could walk to everywhere we wanted from this apartment, albeit with a steep climb back. The apartment had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. We loved watching the sunset from the large balcony—-fabulous view marred only by construction work being done on property below. Because of construction, it was difficult to find where we entered to park so until it’s finished be sure to communicate with property manager before checking in
