Ronachan

We stayed here as it was close to the Islay ferry terminal, for only one night. The house is located between two fields filled with grazing sheep - very peaceful here. Unfortunately, we arrived at dusk and left before sun-up, so we only had a short time to enjoy how beautiful it is here. Andrea met us when we arrived and made us feel right at home. The room was very spacious and comfortable. He said there were other guests, but I never heard a sound. In the morning, Andrea prepared a lovely breakfast to go for us to enjoy on the ferry. We will stay here again.

Beautiful place. Finished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast and Andrea was a great host. Could not fault and would thoroughly recommend.

Nothing see above.

A great location for catching the ferry to Islay. A friendly host, a cosy breakfast room / lounge with an inviting log fire and delicious breakfast. Super big bathroom. Great countryside views.

2 pillows each would have been my preference. I should have asked for a 2nd pillow, but didn’t want to disturb our host as we had arrived late.

Location, hosts were amazing, the dinner was top class, with a perfect service. We were made to feel welcome even through the communication ahead of our stay and during. Exceptional, a great find.

We like everything about our stay
