About this house rental
This home boasts 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, washer/dryer, WIFI, full kitchen, dining area, living room, pellet fireplace. Screened in covered patio, backyard w/over .27 acres to explore. Community amenities- golf, tennis, private lake, fishing, 3 beaches, equestrian center, pickleball courts, outdoor pool, hiking & MUCH MORE! THIS IS 1 OF THE ONLY FENCED IN YARDS IN THE PINE MOUNTAIN LAKE COMMUNITY. Please note: There is a one time $44 fee per car payable at the entrance to the gated community of Pine Mountain Lake. The pass is good for 7days and will give you access to all PML amenities including the pool. This is a fee of the HOA not ours. This fee is paid by all vacation renters no matter what home is rented in the community.

Troy’s Pine Mountain home is a perfect spot for visiting Yosemite. The home is spacious and includes wonderful amenities including a large well stocked kitchen. Tastefully decorated and inside a nice gated community with a lake and numerous activities.We spent 3 days in the park and ate out a few fun local places very close to the house. Nice grocery store just 10 minutes to the house.Troy was a great cimmunicator and was very responsive to questions. There is 50 charge for visitors to get in the gate, but Troy told us this in advance. Highly recommended!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Easy to check in. Wi-Fi was fine. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Nice options to dine both indoor and outdoor. Plenty of space to play board games, do puzzles, etc. Enjoyed a day at the lake, playing in the water and kayaking. Short drive to Rainbow Pool, and to Carlon Falls trail. Spent the morning at Rainbow Pool and hiked to Carlon Falls in the afternoon. Beautiful! Went to Yosemite for the day. 30 minute drive to the entrance, then another 45 to the valley.Definitely recommend staying here!

The house was great, with large, clean rooms and fast WiFi. Location was good, close enough to Yosemite park for a day trip.
Things to note:
There is a $42 fee for a visitor's pass per car. You need to be put on the allowed list to enter the community so get the name(s) of your driver(s) to Troy before your stay.
You most likely won't have cell phone signal. Download offline maps before you enter the mountains.
Don't trust your GPS to lead you to the house from the main road - pass through the main entrance first then follow the GPS.
There is a grocery store and restaurants in town nearby.
You can rent kayaks and probably other equipment at the shop near the lake. The shop closes by 6 pm.
Finally, avoid the neighbors' properties. Don't even walk on them. Park in the driveway. You might still see the neighbors watching you and hear them loudly talking about you. Not gonna lie, the experience was disturbing - we were three women and a teenage girl and these were all men. Hopefully Troy can work out an agreement with the neighbors to minimize the antagonism. We enjoyed our stay anyway since we were mostly out doing holiday things.
