check in was smooth and easy. Owner was very responsive and helpful. the house was clean and as advertised. beds were comfortable and linens clean. location was great, as far as a jumping off point for trips into the park. it is hard to find negatives about the stay but one that comes to mind is the dysfuntional front gate operations at this gated community. you return from a long day in the park and you then have to wait around a half hour to get through the front gate because they only have one lane (for renters) and you have to wait for everyone (including those checking in) to pay and work out the access passes. a half hour is a long time when you have ice cream or hot pizza in the car. hopefully Pine Mountain Lake will figure out a better process. otherwise, it was a relaxing stay. the hot tub was especially nice after hiking all day.

This is a great option for a Yosemite Trip. We went into the park everyday we were there and it was less than an hour to the park entrance. The property was clean and well maintained. Our only compliant was that the hot tub water wasn’t very clean when we arrived and with no way to clean it, it got worse throughout our stay. It Was still a great way to rest our sore muscles after long days of hiking, just wish the water had been a bit cleaner.

We really enjoyed staying at this property while visiting Yosemite. We debated about staying at Rush Creek Lodge but I'm so glad we stayed here instead. After a busy morning of hiking and sightseeing in the heat we looked forward to going back to the cabin to swim at the beach. The beds were comfortable. We like to cook our own meals and thought the kitchen was well stocked. We found everything we needed at the nearby grocery store. The quiet neighborhood was beautiful and felt very safe.

The property is upgraded and well-maintained, jacuzzi, convenient location and easy communication with the owner. The beds are convenient with the comfort topper making a big difference. Our stay was during the hot days and there was too hot inside during the night, especially in the bedroom with the bunk beds. But after turning the AC ECO mode off the issue was improved. Overall good property, recommended for the families.

Communication was a bit slow. We had an issue getting initial instructions and gaining entry into the house, but were able to work out the problem. Cabin has everything you need, except for foil,wrap, bigger bags, and some Tupperware containers. Location is great, 4 min drive to the marina, 8 min to Dunn beach. Plenty of places to sleep. Comfortable beds. We had a great stay!!!

Such nice host and a great stay. Thank you for accommodating our early arrival. Wish we stayed there for few more days. Faced some issue while parking the car uphill which was a little dangerous for my experience. If there could be an alternate parking downhill I would have preferred to park and walk.

Great place to stay if you’re going to Yosemite, quant grocery store and had lunch at the Iron Door Saloon in Groveland. Then at the end of a long day we enjoyed wine and hot tub on the back deck.

Great house for our family get away. The house worked well for our family of five with three grown kids. It was perfect for day trips to Yosemite, about 45 minutes away. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the multiple decks. The perfect base for exploring Yosemite!

Ben was a very nice manager and was extremely communicative. There was a per car fee that was not disclosed to us until the day before arrival But due to the late notification of this Ben was very helpful in rectifying this situation. The place was very cute in a nice quiet neighborhood. The only issue we had was the cleaners did a very poor job of basic cleaning. The floors were unswept, there were cobwebs in the corners, the air conditioner return was covered in large amounts of dust and dirt and all the rugs had copious amounts of debris. The beds we’re comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were also clean other than floors. There clearly was dust on all the side tables and areas that were out of the main use. Despite the above issues we did enjoy our stay and would still recommend this place. I passed along this information to the property manager and he ensured me he would address this with his cleaners.

This a great rental. Very good location and a short drive to the lake. House was well equipped and we had 5 adults and two children and there was room for everyone and the rooms are all separated. We would definitely stay again. Our host was very communicative and accommodating.

We came up with our friends and toddler and had a lovely time at Marlo and Ron's place. I have to say, Marlo and Ron were so very easy to work with and were the best hosts I think we've ever had at a house rental. They were responsive every time we brought something up and were super about providing whatever was needed We got rained out so unfortunately did not make it to enjoy the nearby sights, but amenities wise this place was great. Everything you need is nearby. The hot tub was great to relax in, and the kitchen has everything you need. Plus, there were toys, a high chair and such for our toddler which made packing easy. The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars was that it was not as private as it seemed in the listing (the neighbor's house overlooks the hot tub). There didn't appear to be anyone there when we visited, but I imagine it might be busier in the summer.

The place was a perfect spot to stay while we explored Yosemite. The hot tub was great and the space was prefect for us and our fiends. Loved seeing all of the deer throughout the neighbor. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the spacious kitchen as it was nicely stocked. The hot tub was relaxing and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The only complaint was that the house was not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen counter and the floors were hastily wiped and swept. Porches and stairs were not swept either. Also for some reason there were dozens of flys awaiting our arrival? Overall comfortable accommodations and the community lake was pleasant.

We visited PML for a family wedding. The home worked perfectly for our needs with the separate bedroom with its own bath downstairs and two additional bedrooms and bath on the main upper level gave everyone good space of their own. Home was clean, inviting and well equipped with all the items needed. Owners were very good about communicating when needed, We also loved the pet friendliness with pooch snacks in jars in the home. The dog was very happy too. :)

I stayed at this property with my husband and 3 year old son. We LOVED it. It was perfect - clean, organized, great location, a lot of amenities, quiet, easy check-in and check-out. We only wished we had booked to stay longer, skipped the San Francisco part of our vacation, and had others join us. This place is in one of the closest towns to Yosemite, but it is still quite far - 1.5-2 hour drive each way every day, depending on which part of the park we were going to. However, for the price and amenities, it can't be beat. The quality is way above anything you would find within Yosemite. We wished we had booked to stay 2 more days so that we could have gone to Yosemite every other day, and spent the other days relaxing at the beautiful lake or hiking the trails in the community. There was a great grocery store nearby and a few decent restaurants. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We hope to stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone spending a good amount of time at Yosemite, or looking for a peaceful vacation.

We loved our stay! There were so many activities to engage in on-site…we could have stayed here for two weeks and still have found things to do. Considering how warm it was during our stay (90s), we probably appreciated the air conditioning more than anything. :-) We split our time between activities on-site and visiting Yosemite. The drive to Yosemite was a pretty quick 30 minutes to the gate. We were able to leave right after breakfast and beat the traffic. The lake onsite is gorgeous. We swam every day. And, we thoroughly enjoyed all the wildlife onsite. The welcome binder included many ideas for activities and food options as well as tips for visiting Yosemite. Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful time at PML! The house is clean comfortable and very well stocked for cooking although we ate out every night. The host seemed very nice and responded to our emails in due time even though they too were on vacation. The house is a short drive from the lake, had very nice open views although not of the lake. Overall, I would stay there again!

My husband, our toddler, our dog, and I stayed here this last weekend and we had an amazing time! The house was clean and beautiful as pictured. Everything was exactly as described! My toddler loved all the kid-appropriate toys, DVDs, and accommodations, including a high chair, a booster seat, and a pack and play. My husband and I loved relaxing after our toddler went to bed in the hot-tub and by cooking in the beautiful kitchen or barbecuing on the deck. The pine mountain lake community had absolutely everything we needed for a great weekend of lasting memories! I’ll never forget the look on my toddler’s face when we saw deer just pass right below the deck. It was so amazing! Next time we’ll bring more friends and family because the house could very easily sleep many more than we had. We had a great time and I couldn’t recommend it higher!

Even though we got in late after hiking to see the falls in Yosemite. This home had everything we needed to get the grandkids settled in and calm while we made lobster and steak dinner. We woke up and had a peaceful morning with coffee while sitting in the hot tub grilling the leftover steak with eggs. What a perfectly comfortable feeling and memories this place helped us create! A quaint place with all the amenities of home included. It was the perfect location to go to Yosemite NP multiple times over 3 days. Teenagers felt comfortable with their own space and kitchen amenities helped to create meals when needed. Hot tub is a bonus and helped on days after long hikes. Thank you to Ron and Marlo for a wonderful stay and keeping in touch during the stay.

Everything was as it said on the description and very comfortable home. We did have a small incident when we got there with the heat not working, but as soon as I contacted them, they were no joke and got it fixed ASAP, not to mention they refunded me for the day. I did give them 5 stars on all categories except on overall rating (4)and not because of the heat.......... They need to step up their BBQ pit game. That thing is falling apart! But yes, I would definitely take my family here again.

The property and atmosphere was extremely beautiful and hands down the best place I’ve stayed at. Located conveniently close to grovel and and not far from the Yosemite entrance, this property is absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with someone special!!
