Shan Mu Inn Entire flat 2 bedrooms with terrace seaview

Loved the decor and layout. The beds were comfy and warm. Beautiful views from the terrace. Well equipped kitchen with useful staples left ie teas, coffee, milk, fairy liquid, hand soap, much appreciated. Easy check in with the key safe and very clean. Wonderful location to view the west of Cornwall. Very useful to have parking too.

The place needed a bit of love, maintenance and attention to detail. A few things just needed to be thrown away.. the patio table and chair on the terrace have all but rusted away, the washing line is broken. Inside, the second bedroom there is a dip in the floor by the door which doesn't feel safe, and there is nothing to hang your clothes on except for a hook rack, no hangers, no mirror. The bed creaked when you got into it. The kitchen sink played the drums when water went down the plug hole. The grout in the shower was mouldy and horrid, despite having a very fancy, huge bath... looked like only half a job was done when refurbished. Stairs to the entrance were rickety.... Such a shame as the place has great potential and a wonderful view.

We had a fantastic 5-night stay! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The balcony with stunning sea views and St Michael’s Mount was the highlight of our stay. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats of complimentary cake slices and a bottle of milk. The staff were very helpful over the phone in helping us find the property. Overall, a wonderful experience—we would definitely stay here again!

The decor, the view, the seaside sounds. We were gifted a a quart of milk for our teas and coffees. That was fantastic because the coop down the hill was a difficult climb.

No paper towels but tea towels were clean. Entrance was difficult to find.

Spacious, good price

On top of the hill, needs some TLC.
