Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

My family & I stayed in this vacation spot for a week. A total of 5 adults, 3 kids (12, 10, 5). If you are on the 1st or 2nd level, you can hear everything going on above you. Including the other guests walking across their condo. Which can be annoying, but wasn’t a huge deal to us. You can’t expect people not to walk around! It was about our 5th night in, we had tucked the kids into bed approx. 8:30 -9 PM. Now, 10:45 PM. All the adults are sitting on the couch watching television before heading to bed. I get a call from an unknown number so I don’t answer it. They left a voicemail. It was an agent with Vacasa informing us there had been a noise complaint filed against us and we needed to be respectful of our neighbors or we could be immediately evicted from the property with no refund. I did NOT appreciate getting threatened with these things when my family had done nothing out of the normal. Literally nothing. So I call back immediately to get details as far as more specifics to the complaint - footsteps, the television, voices? What was so loud we were disturbing neighbors? Again, the kids were asleep. Adults all sitting on the couch - maybe some casual conversations but nothing loud, the television was on but at an appropriate volume. They would not give specifics of the complaint and just said that maybe there had been a misunderstanding. Which is okay, misunderstandings happen - but don’t threaten to immediately evict 8 people from their vacation rental over a misunderstanding. I didn’t appreciate it at all & the rest of the time we felt like we had to tiptoe & whisper as if not to disturb anyone in fear of getting kicked out of the condo. We will not be staying here again.
