Great place while passing through on our vacation!

The host was highly communicative, very polite and extremely helpful! Beds were comfy and just what we needed.

A nice place for an overnight stop on a long journey but it has no nearby facilities.

Having found the property (not easy) and contacted the owner to get access we found the room was very good. The staff (Patrick) went to some trouble providing us with a good breakfast the next day in part compensation for the initial difficulties. We also enjoyed our walk in the countryside in the evening to find a restaurant.

Clear signage at the property to confirm where we were and being provided with instructions about the key before we arrived. It was shame that the village (Kell; the property is not actually in Andernach)) where we were had no restaurant, shop or bar. The nearest restaurant appears to be Restaurant Vulkan Waldfrieden just over 4km walk away.

A nice, quiet location with super host and breakfast

It was very pleasantly and carefully organised and clean and the breakfast was very good and nice. The host was not present but very carefully and kindly supporting by app. It is very quiet and has a nice natural environment.

The only thing that was disapointing was that the village has no shops and for a restaurant we needed to drive several kilometers.

Charming little hotel.

Hotel is situated in an idyllic little village, very peaceful and charming. The hotel from the outside looks charming and welcoming with an off road private car park. The rooms are very clean, fresh and modern and nice and peaceful. The host Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly, messaging me prior to the trip to give me tips on local restaurants and places to see. A fantastic and charming hotel and I would highly recommend you stay there!

An excellent location for nature and close from bot Moselle and Rhine valleys.

The host is very pleasant. He gave us helpful information to book in, making the process very easy and indicated us a very excellent place for dinner not far from the property. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. As an extra there was water and hot drinks facilities in the room. It was much appreciated on our arrival. It was very clean and comfortable. In the overall the room was all what we needed for a good rest.

Next door room had the alarm clock very early, I was awaken by the sound. But this was something out of control for the host.

An oasis in the middle of a fantastic landscape just a few minutes away from the big cities. An extremely friendly owner, always available and reachable by WhatsApp, who provided excellent tips in terms of places to visit and restaurants. Excellent value for money.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay with friendly hosts

We had a really comfortable and relaxing stay. The hosts are really nice and ready to help, hospitable couple. Our experience was much better than what we expected thanks to the friendly and welcoming hosts. The area is quiet and peaceful. We were a group there for a festival, searching for a place to rest, and sleep tired in the nights. The location was a bit remote but was perfect to escape the heavy traffic from the festival, and to rest. However it is for sure perfect for a relaxing vacation after a stressful work week, and also for the people who want to spend time away from stress and in the beautiful nature in the surrounding area and the lake.

Wyjątkowo dobry kontakt z Panem Patrykiem. Dba o każdy szczegół, pomaga i nie pozwala na żadne niedociągnięcia. Bez problemu zameldowałem się późnym wieczorem. Internet działa bardzo dobrze (starlink) bo siła sygnału przez komórkę jest dość słaba. Śniadanie podane w wiklinowym koszu rano pod drzwi spełnia wszystkie wymagania - jest pyszne. W pobliżu ciekawe miejsce do spacerów - jezioro Laacher see.. wulkaniczne.

Sehr ruhig gelegen. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Unkomplizierter Check-IN. Zimmer sehr sauber. Alles da, was man braucht. Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Der Frühstückskorb war sweet :)

Die Info über die "Frühstückbestellung" wäre fast untergegangen und wir wären aus dem Haus gegangen, ohne Frühstück zu bestellen. Die Info bitte besser platzieren. Frühstück auf dem Zimmer ist ungewöhnlich, aber wohl nicht anders zu handhaben.

Simples, unkompliziertes Check-In via Mail. Günstige Unterkunft. Ruhige Gegend. Funktionierendes Internet ist immer super. Für eine Nacht auf Geschäftsreise super.

Überaus schalldicht sind die Zimmer zwar nicht, aber ist zu vertreten, da auch nicht zu viele Zimmer/Gäste dort sind.

Goed! Eenvoudig en volledig voor kort verblijf of doorreis!

Alles wat je nodig had was aanwezig en was zeer proper. Alle ruimtes waren proper! De communicatie, via WhatsApp, verliep correct en vlot. Wanneer je iets vroeg, was dat geen probleem en werd dit vlot in orde gebracht.

Er viel niets echt tegen... maar... Ik miste zo net dat beetje meer. We misten het persoonlijk contact. We zagen letterlijk niemand. We waren met 2 koppels in 2 kamers. We misten een gezamenlijke ruimte om samen te kunnen zitten. De badkamer is klein en gedateerd!

Passable Unterkunft im Funk- und Service- Loch

Die Unterkunft war zweifelsohne günstig im Vergleich, da es in der Gegend von Maria Laach wenig Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten für 1 Nacht gibt, sondern nur Ferienwohnungen oder überteuerte Hotels. Die Unterkunft war sauber und Bett und Mobiliar ansprechend.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in einem kleinen Weiler ohne jegliche Infrastruktur im näheren Umkreis. Ich konnte vor dem Haus die email mit den Zusatzinformationen wie den Code für den Schlüsseltresor nicht abrufen, da es in dem ganzen Ort scheinbar keine Mobilfunkverbindung gibt und mußte weit bergauf laufen, um Verbindung zu bekommen. Es war keinerlei Personal vor Ort. Das WLAN funktionierte nur auf dem Gang- besonders blöd, weil Mobilfunk ja auch nicht ging... Das Bad war in die Jahre gekommen trotz neuer Duschgarnitur. Die Duschkabine viel zu eng zum Bücken und insgesamt wenig Platz für Ablagen. Der Waschbeckenabfluss war angerostet und der Wasserhahn nicht regelbar, da entweder nur Tröpfchen oder volle Spritzwasser- Atacke möglich waren. Die Krönung war das Frühstück, das man bis 22:00 per WhatsApp Foto des Bestellzettels ordern sollte. Man konnte nur eine gewisse Anzahl "Beilagen nach Wahl" ankreuzen, wobei bereits die Butter auf dem Brötchen eine Beilage war. Wir gaben nach kurzer Zeit auf, uns eine passables Frühstück zusammenzustellen, das dann am nächsten Morgen in einem Korb vor der Tür stehen sollte. Die Kosten dafür sind mit 15 EUR pro Person schon fast als Frechheit zu bezeichnen. Da es im Umkreis von 5 km keine Möglichkeit gab, etwas zum Abendessen aufzutreiben, fuhren wir ins 11 km entfernte Mendig in ein sehr gutes Lokal (Vulkan Brauhaus). Dort gibt es auch einen REWE Markt, von wo wir uns dann für 10 EUR incl. Getränk ein wunderbares Frühstück zur Selbstversorgung mitbrachten. Nach Allem ist es mir unverständlich, wie es zu einer Bewertung von "8,8 fabelhaft" auf der booking,com Seite gekommen ist...

Als Notlösung okay.

Von Frühstück hab ich nichts bemerkt. Ich konnte es auch nicht buchen und vor Ort ist mir weder am Abend nach 17 Uhr noch am Morgen jemand begegnet. Also nie Personal gesehen und auch kein Hinweis betreffend Frühstück. Von daher trifft der Begriff BedandBreakfast nicht zu. Ziemlich unpersönlich da.

Ländlich gelegene Übernachtungsmöglichkeit

Eine saubere, ruhige Unterkunft mit geringem Standard. Das Zimmer war geräumig, Fliegengitter vor dem Fenster, eine Flasche Wasser zur Begrüßung auf dem Zimmer. Die Brötchen waren lecker.

Leider Einiges. Die Flurbeleuchtung sowie der Kühlschrank im Zimmer waren defekt. Der Fernsehempfang lief über Internet, hakte jedoch ständig. Das Frühstück wurde morgens vor die Zimmertür geliefert, war mehr als minimalistisch. Höchstens 2 Brötchen pro Person, dazu ein Ei, jedoch ohne Eierbecher und Salzstreuer oder Eierlöffel, Für jeden eine Scheibe Schinken und Käse sowie ein Päckchen Marmelade und Nutella sowie ein Jogurt, eine kleine Thermoskanne mit 1,5 Tassen Kaffee pro Person. Wir bekamen auch zwei Gläser mitgeliefert, jedoch nichts was man hätte da hineinfüllen können. Dafür gab es nur einen Teelöffel für Kaffee, Ei, Jogurt und Marmelade bzw. Nutella. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte hier einfach nicht. Da wir sehr viel Reisen, meine ich, dass wir uns dieses Urteil erlauben können.

Ideaal voor een nacht rust in ruraal gebied!

zeer rustige ligging in het centrum van een dorpje, maar op een kruispunt van tal van wandelroutes en bezienswaardigheden. Pure ontspanning, en 's morgens een heerlijk ontbijt.

Tolle Unterkunft, äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Patrick Kur ist sehr gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Gluten-und laktosefreies Frühstück wurde möglich gemacht und war sehr lecker. Frühstück ist auf dem Zimmer und wurde morgens frisch gebracht.

Eine ruhige Nacht

Das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber. Spätanreise ist möglich, da der Schlüssel in ein Schlüsselsafe hinterlegt wird. Freier Parkplatz vor dem Hotel ist verfügbar. Eine Mineralwasserflasche war kostenfrei auf dem Tisch.

Mehrere Treppen sind mit Gepäck zu bewältigen. Die Türen der Duschkabine schließen nicht richtig.

Zu unpersönlich, würde es nicht mehr buchen

Das Zimmer war modern und sauber, Bad total veraltet, aber auch sauber. Der Preis für das Einzelzimmer war zu hoch. Frühstück konnte man bestellen, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Positiv war die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer. Personal war keines zu sehen, da Schlüsselkasten.
