We liked everything. The apartment was very well equipped, the immediate neighbourhood was quiet at night and there was a city bus nearly on the doorstep to take us to town without worrying about the car. A short stroll takes you to the Kanoni harbour, where cats and ducks live in perfect amity and to nearby swimming at Pontikonisi, a blue flag beach.
Some people might not like the proximity to the airport as it can be rather noisy when flights take off. However, you can walk up to the cafes at the end of the peninsula and enjoy the scenic view of sea, mountains and approaching aircraft.
