Lovely, well equipped apartment.

Lovely well equipped apartment right on the lagoon. Great terrace area leading on to a little garden and the water. It is very, very close to the runway, so noisy, but we loved seeing all the planes, and the noise didn't bother us. Close to bars and restaurants, and there are pools you can access. There is also a small beach at the Corfu Palace. 25 minutes walk to Corfu town , or 10 on the bus.

AMAZING!

Absolutely spectacular in terms of views, hospitality and the accommodation itself! I would throughly recommend Annas apartments to anyone. I will start off with the welcome, the family could not do enough for us. They brought us water, sweets for the kids etc. They kindly showed us the other rooms and which have also been renovated over the winter, my goodness all beautiful with all the mod cons. Beds were comfortable, sound proofed walls, all the equipment that you could need…flat screens tvs with Netflix, very clean and spanking new. The garden was full of fruit trees which are well cared for and well what can I saw about the amazing views of the runway, lagoon and sunset over the mountain on evening. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us

Exceptional Apartments

Anna & her son Thassos make you feel like part of the family, they are such lovely hosts. They are welcoming & friendly. The apartments have recently been upgraded to a very high standard. The bed is super comfy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal if you wish to do so. We stayed here about 8yrs ago and to see how it looks now to before the transformation is amazing. Great views from the balcony overlooking the runway & lagoon. Ideal place for plane & bird spotting. The 2A bus goes into Corfu Town from a stop just up the lane from the apartments,this costs €2. They run every 20mins from early am to late pm & better to get than taking a car as parking a nightmare in Town. I highly recommend staying at Anna's,this will not be our last time. Thank You Anna & Thassos x

Exceeding expectations! This place will be my first choice if I ever want to visit corfu!

The landlord is very warm and friendly. On the first day, I arrived in the middle of the night due to the flight delay, but they still received me with smiles. This apartment has just been renovated and everything is very modern and comfortable. The balcony of the apartment faces the sea view directly, so you can sit at home and watch the sunset every day.

We can recommend this stay as long as one is aware that it is noisy because of planes.

Anna and her son Thasos were so very hospitable and helpful. They were generous with their time. The bus stop was only 150 metres and easily walkable! There was a Mini-Mart twenty minutes away by foot. There was another one up the top of the hill at Kanoni. This was accessible by foot for those who are fit but also by bus - 2Euros for a one minute ride. There was a great little bar on the water about 100metres away.

Unfortunately, the whole complex was being renovated so, instead of walking up three flights of stairs to an unfinished room, we opted for a very small room - comfortable single beds. There was only a kettle - no toaster, no microwave. I'm sure by now the renovations will have been completed and the apartments will be beautiful with excellent views. Be prepared to enjoy the noise of the planes taking off from about 8.00a.m. and arriving - some 1.00a.m.!! The tarmac is only100metres from the accommodation.

A different experience in the heart of Corfu

The apartment poses all facilities you need. The location was perfect for us as we don’t like to be in the middle of the old town full of tourists. It is closed to the bus stop to go anywhere. The interesting point is that is in front of the take-off line of the airport, having the advantage that at night there is no flights. For us was a different and curious experience that will repeat! Moreover, Anna let us to do the check out in the afternoon allowing us to rest until our flight :)

Highly recommended for 1 night if you have an early/late flight

The owner is superkind and helpful and the place very close to the airport (chosen because we landed very late and wamted a place nearby the airport..)The location is very (very) close to the airport strip and obviously quite noisy but we knew that in advance. Anyhow it was fun to see landings and departures from the window

Superb

Lovely little traditional apartment. Good location and a very interesting and beautiful area to stay in, a few minutes walk to restaurants, boat rides, the Holy Monastery of Panagia Vlacherna is on a tiny island which you can walk on a jetty to, and another island the Holy Church of the Transfiguration you can take a boat to. Really nice views across the water of hills and mountains. The end of the runway is very close to the apartments where planes taxi down to, then take off. Very good for keen plane spotters, although very noisy at times, of course.

Good for a night

We needed 1 night accommodation near the airport for our flight home the next day - Anna's Apartment was conveniently located - very much on the runway!! It was obviously very loud, but we enjoyed watching the planes which stopped at 11pm. The one room apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable, Anna the owner very friendly and welcoming.

We had hoped for a balcony overlooking the water as in the pictures, however we didn't get one which was a little disappointing.

Interesting stay in a property slightly different from the normal.

You have to understand how near this property is to the runway. The aircraft power up right outside your balcony. However the bedroom was triple glazed and we did sleep well. A few restaurants and bars nearby but not the best. Regular bus service into Corfu town.

Short break

I was met on arrival by the host Anna. Everything was as stated on the website . 150/200 yards from a very small beach, which overlooked 'Mouse Island', and the same distance to a bus stop in the opposite direction to Corfu town. Remember this is situated at the end of the runway to Corfu airport, so can be noisy at times, but property is triple glazed in the bedroom, so no problem to me.

Happy with the way it was. 5/6 minute walk to mini market and restaurants.

Very cosy and tastefully decorated. Felt almost like a home away from home. Superb views of Corfu airport's runway. Friendly and accommodating owner. Good selection of bars, restaurants and mini-markets all within 5 minutes' walk.

Anna’s appartments are wonderful and perfect for a short or long stay in Corfu.

Anna’s appartments are very cute and well-equipped. You have everything for a short or long stay. From our balcony we could admire a plethora of flights and the sea. Even though it is near to the airport, we could sleep very well. The check-in was extremely easy. We arrived after 00:30 and followed Anna’s instructions. Recomand apartamentele Anei. A fost o placere sa fim cazati la ea!

I booked for the view of the runway and it did not disappoint, fantastic views of the runway, also the area 'Kanoni' was the best out of all the places I saw in Corfu. The planes are extremely loud and you will get woken up during the night

Plane spotting heaven

Anna is a lovely friendly lady. The room was very clean, comfy bed, decent shower, wifi, excellent aircon and plenty of kitchen utensils. Amazing views of the planes landing and taking off, no night flights so sleep is not inhibited. Thoroughly recommend

Perfect location, wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts

The location of Anna Apartments Kanoni is exceptional - especially if you are an aviation enthusiast. From the balcony, you can watch birds (herons, egrets, kingfishers) and planes, close enough so you don't need a zoom lens. If you close all three glass doors and curtains, the noise is limited - you'll still hear a few seconds of engine noise for every takeoff, but considering how close to the runway the house is, you'll be surprised at how much you can reduce the noise level inside. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette, a good bathroom with an excellent shower, and the hosts are incredibly accommodating and helpful - to the point of offering to supply me with bottled water and other necessities when they noticed that I didn't have a rental car. Kanoni itself is a beautiful corner of Corfu, with a monastery and a small port offering ferries to Mouse Island right next to Anna's Apartments. A short walk up the hill, the Skyview Cafe and the Cafe belonging to the Royal Grand offer regal views over the airport / approach, along with good food and service in the former. Basically, the location of the apartment could not be better for aviation enthusiasts, and even non-enthusiasts will find a stay here pleasant and diverting.

While the apartment is great for location and views, its chairs are not very comfy. It won't bother you when you go out a lot, but on rainy / lazy days, comfier seating would have made the difference between a great apartment and a perfect one.

Great location close to Vlaherena Church. Easy check in/check out. Clean room. Good value for money, You can see how planes are landing right from your window :) Of course, there is noise from the planes, but in my opinion, the hosts did everything possible to minimize that (triple glazing).

One of the best places for aircraft spotters but the position is also ideal for any tourist.

Anna, the owner was most welcoming. I sent a message a few days before to tell her what time to expect me and she was waiting for me at the property where she herself lives as well. Handed me the keys and showed me around the apartment.

Everything was perfect for me. I must say that I am an aircraft spotter and the fact that the runway is only 100mtrs away is of benefit to me but it may put others off. Be aware: there is aircraft noise during the day but its quiet during the night when few, if any aircraft move. The windows are tripple glazed and are very effective too.

Very clean and cute apartment. Sometimes the noise of airplanes is disturbing but if you close the windows is ok. I stayed there only 2 nights.
