This beautiful cottage was comfortable, warm, welcoming and well equipped with what we needed for cooking and spotlessly clean. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The shower was great. Billy and Rosanne were so welcoming and helpful. The outside space was just perfect for sitting out using the bbq and enjoying the good weather. The menagerie of animals were such a treat for the 5 yr old who did not want to leave at the end of the week, there were tears as we coaxed him into the car and promises of next summer. Close to wonderful days out, chill on the beach at Kilmore Quay, or crab fish off the pier, and plenty of shops nearby for groceries, cafe's, icecream and gifts. Johnstown Castle was well worth the visit nearby. Mary Barrys up the road, delicious food! Seashore explore, a local run class, was a wonderful way to spend time learning about the rockpools and sea life. And comfy time in the cottage with a book or having a little wander around the space outside enjoying the peace and lovely nature of the surroundings.
Our stay at Cob Cottage was wonderful, it was quite literally a little slice of heaven for the week.
