About this house rental

Welcome to our Lakefront Family Getaway on the shores of Chautauqua Lake! Our Lakehouse is a private lakefront 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a large yard for family fun and games. The private dock has amazing panoramic lake views with breathtaking sunrise and “golden hour” full of color at sunset! Bring your boat! The dock area can accommodate tying off your boat and has plenty of fishing and relaxing space with chairs and a lakefront glider to take in those panoramic views! Fishing off the dock has proven to be plentiful over the years with many different species of fish and sizes. Our house is equipped with ample outdoor lakeview seating for family dining with a gas grill, and a custom filet table for those lake to plate meals!
Our home has bed space for 10. 1 king, 2 queens and 4 single beds. The family dining table with lake views can seat 10 in our all-inclusive GREAT room including a full-service kitchen, dining and family room with a 60 inch TV, board games, puzzle table and plenty of comfortable seating for family movie nights.
We have 2 fire rings available for those star night bonfires, 1 lakefront and 1 deck side.
Location is outstanding! Close to everything by car, boat, or foot. Our home is situated between Ashville Bay Marina and Smith Boys Marina. A 10 minute boat ride to Bemus Point and all that is offered there from dining, shopping and entertainment. Close to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, wineries and the Southern Tier brewery. Short walk to a community park with pickleball, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, soccer and playground. Quick drive to the Chautauqua Institute, National Comedy center and multiple golf courses around the lake.

We had a lovely time and the house made it just that much more. It was perfect for all of us. We had plenty of room and it was in a good location. We went to Peak n Peek for the festival and luckily the weather cooperated. Unfortunately, the fish did not ha ha. No catches this year. Consensus is we will be coming back to this house next year.

House was everything you could imagine a lake house to be, comfortable, relaxing, views of lake Chautauqua amazing! Bed very comfortable, house was very clean on arrival, check in process went well, honestly was wonderful. Ashville general store has an AMAZING prime rib sandwich on homemade rolls, with a side of Au jus and horseradish, do yourself a favor and get one! Mike was literally SO fast to respond to the few questions I had, already told him, we will be staying again, but next time in the summer months!! Thank you Mike for everything!

The lake view was wonderful! Having an extra bathroom was helpful. We cooked in, and we enjoyed that the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, cooking and baking pans/dishes. Beds were comfortable and Mike, our host was very available. It couldn't have been better.

We enjoyed three nights at this lakefront home. We rented a pontoon one day and were able to tie up to the dock for a quick break. The home was perfect in every way. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was nicely decorated. The hosts thought of everything! Mike was very prompt in returning our text messages. We recommend this home very highly.

This property is EXACTLY how it is pictured and described on VRBO. Mike, the owner was great throughout and would return texts within minutes when we had questions. The property is spacious and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you can possibly need to prepare and eat meals. We had eight adults staying at the property and we never felt like we were tripping over one another. We hung out on the back deck and in the back yard area a lot during our stay and took advantage of the fire pits and kayaks on site. Without question, having coffee on the break wall while watching the sunrise is one of the best opportunities this property provides. We absolutely love this property.

We had a wonderful short stay at the house. It was very clean and they definitely went above on making it special for you. We were celebrating a couple of birthdays in our family and they left a birthday balloon for us. It’s the simple things that mean the most. They also offered everything you could possibly forget such as tooth paste, shampoo, zip lock bags and much much more. Would love to stay again

Loved the property! Beautiful and exactly as described! Mike was super easy to contact and had everything we could ever need! Stayed here on our way to Niagara Falls Canada and couldnt have been happier with our stay. We even were able to rent a pontoon at the marina and dock at the cabin!

Stayed here for a week of fishing with a group of friends. The multiple individual beds worked great for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and had a large table for meals. The outdoor space was nice with the grill and Blackstone. The dock worked well for the 2 boats we had. Parking was a little limited for a large group but we made it work. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Property was exactly as described. Very clean and well organized. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room to sit and chat in living room or by the fire at night as well. We did not do any cooking at the house but if we did, it was well equipped. Very cozy and we also enjoyed sitting out by the water(plenty of chairs there as well. This is a true lakefront property. The lake is in your back yard. I like its setting in the back because the house and deck sits back further from the lake than the neighbors on either giving more privacy. The house sits closer to the main road which didn’t bother us because the lake is in the back along with the deck so that is where our time was spent. The house was clean and very well stocked. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it. Owners on both sides (neighbors) were very nice. Mike, the owner of this house was very nice and very quick to answer any questions that I had. Location was great because it was close to stores and different towns.
