About this cabin rental
Welcome to Barkbeth Farm Shepherd's Huts. We are set on a working farm located in Bassenthwaite in the heart of the Lake District. We offer a relaxing glamping experience with stunning views right at your feet.
Set in it's own peaceful compound away from the sounds and smells of the farm is fell foot.
Open plan living/dining/king size bed with 32" TV. Kitchenette with double induction hob, microwave oven and Airfryer.
Our hut has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
Outdoor fire pit and picnic bench for you to make the most of the amazing views. Bbqs welcome but are not provided.
Grass and gravel outside area.
We are dog friendly but can only accommodate 1 and kindly ask guests to keep them off the bed.

There are two similar huts, located on a working farm - closest neighbours are the sheep in the adjacent field.The owner, Matt, is nearby and we saw him around the place at various times, although did not have much contact with him other than the initial instructions on checking in.The hut is comfortable, and adequately equipped for its size (ie only a couple of pans, but enough for what we were cooking).Only a couple of minor comments - the sink is pretty small, so was hard to wash dishes without splashing water everywhere, just needed to wipe up afterwards. Great location: fantastic views, around 10 minute drive from Keswick, with hillwalking on Skiddaw straight from the door.
