Munnik's Hof

Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Ferienhaus. Ruhig gelegen und trotzdem nicht weit bis zum Zentrum. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter.

Hosts met us upon arrival and gave a brief tour and explanation of the accommodations. There is a charming private garden that we used to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and a salad. There is also a balcony off of one of the bedrooms on the second floor which we also enjoyed. The little house was spotless and had everything we needed. The most important plus was the two bicycles (with chain locks) that were available for our use. We used them every day to ride to the free ferry that takes you across the river to the Center City. We did not take them into the Center City because it is packed with bicycles going in every direction at fast speeds. We just chained our bicycles at the bike racks by the ferry landing and rode the ferry over. It worked perfectly. We mainly walked everywhere once we got to the other side. We did take public transportation once to the museum district. It was easy to catch the metro (just tap your charge card on and off) at Central Station (a short walk from the ferry landing). I would highly recommend this house for a stay. It is on a quiet street, the house itself is charming, the hosts were very accommodating, and with the bicycles easily accessible to the Center of Amsterdam. (If you don't want to take the bicycles, there is a metro stop about 10-12 min walk away you can use.)

Location was lovely .. on a delightful street of traditional houses. There is a 15 - 20 minute walk to metro station .. and then a direct journey to Central Station. There are bikes at the property which can be used. This is not suitable for people with mobility problems unless you use taxis.

Beautiful home wonderful story behind it and location was lovely. Far enough from hustle and bustle but a short 15 min walk to nord station. 2 bikes were supplied and they were great for a little run around.

I would say a second two seat sofa and perhaps microwave would be fantastic just because we were unable to reheat a takeaway we had bought and didnt manage. and the seating wasnt really enough for 4 adults one had to always sit on a dining chair rather tham a comfy chair.
