Bring the entire family and have fun in this cute 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the heart of Merritt Island! This peaceful 1,200 sq ft single-family retreat is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood and offers something for everyone to enjoy. Inside, you’ll find updated appliances (including a gas stove), a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy coastal-inspired décor that makes the home feel warm and welcoming. The open layout is perfect for gathering, cooking, and relaxing after a day of adventure.
Outside, unwind on the back patio with a cocktail as the sun sets over the canal, or slip into the private hot tub for a peaceful soak under the stars. Guests can also take the kayaks out and explore the locally famous Sykes Creek! With world-famous Cocoa Beach just 10 minutes away and Kennedy Space Center nearby, you’ll never run out of things to do. Even Disney World and Universal Studios are only about an hour away, making this the perfect home base for your Space Coast adventure!

Wildlife lovers and birdwatchers: be sure to check out nearby Banana River, a 31-mile lagoon with salt marshes, oyster beds and mangrove swamps that are home to dolphins, manatees, blue herons and more.
Getting Around:
Plenty of space for on site parking. Very close to SR528 and SR520 intersections that will each get you anywhere you want to be quickly. (Orlando is less than 40 min away)
Uber and Lift are prevalent and efficient in the area as well.

Great house! Spacious and clean. On the canal; able to fish and kayak. Saw manatee, dolphin, and stingray. Close proximity to stores, restaurants, and the beach. Extra beach gear in the garage. The host responded very quickly with any questions. Wonderful stay.

Booking was easy, host was very responsive and pleasant. Location was perfect for our needs and close to the softball fields/tournament. House was clean, kitchen had everything you could possibly want/need. Only stayed one night and wish we had longer to enjoy the house/area. However, kids were able to enjoy the kayak's for about an hour before it was to dark and wrapped up the night in the hot tub. Will absolutely stay again if we find ourselves competing there again.

Nice pet friendly property. Back yard was nice, my shepherd enjoyed it. The canal brought a suprise for my wife, dolphins were feet away feeding in the morning hours. Great place to relax and the location is great, close by all you will need. Thanks enjoyed

So I too have a property on VRBO and am a host so I'm going to try to write a fair review with that in mind. The house was mixed for us..The Pros: the kitchen, the canal and kayaks in back, it's proximity to sights, it was also quiet. We appreciated the amenities too like Tupperware, shampoo and body wash, ample towels, some beach gear, etc. If you like TVs they are everywhere.The Cons: All the furniture needs replacing or a deep clean. There are stains on the dining room bench and chairs. The porch area is dingey and could use a spruce up. The bed was like a taco so I removed the memory foam topper which helped. No bureau in my room either which was hard. **The biggest issue was that the AC didn't work properly and I spent much of my vacation texting and calling Beachside properties to try and resolve the situation. While they did try to help, and had 3 units installed in our bedrooms, the main problem never got fully resolved even after 3 visits from an HVAC guy. It was 93 degrees in the house at one point. They did give us a partial refund. However, each person I spoke to I had to explain things all over to which was frustrating.. also, our refund amount varied depending on who I spoke to. Because of the cons listed above we wouldn't choose this place again.. but it has potential and as a fellow host I really hope the owners invest in upgrades to the HVAC system and the furniture. Lastly, I'd rather deal with an owner than a large property rental company..
