Beautiful Apartment in Heart of Historical Center

Excellent location

C’est un appartement très propre et très confortable .En outre sa situation géographique est magnifique.J’ai beaucoup aimé mon expérience et je recommande vivement.

The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. The place is located in the pedestrian zone just across the Serbian ortodox church in a breathtaking Timisoara old city center. Our host Cosmin went the extra mile to provide a free of charge baby crib and he also agreed to let us stay at the apartment until 1 PM on our last day although the check out time was 11 AM. The apartment is in an old building, but the place itself is very nicely decorated and the heating was excellent. Paid street parking is available nearby, and depending on the parking zones it is free on Sundays and partly on Saturdays. There is also an Underground Parking Lot, 700 Market where you can park a car for a whole day. Just a street away from that parking lot, in the street Strada Pictor Ion Zaicu, after and across the Societatea Profesionala Notariala Românu, you can even park your car for free, but keep in mind that this is a non-official street parking.

We waited for 20 minutes before the host showed up and we got a different apartment than the one we booked. In the apartment we got and didn't book, we had a shower with the curtain which we really don't like and we never book apartments with shower curtains since they tend to stick during shower time. Other than these minor flaws, everything else was great.

Excellent location right in the city center. Charming old-town atmosphere in an interesting historic building. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with a clean and comfortable bedroom and living room.

The downsides are the bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, but the smell from the fridge was so unpleasant that we only opened it once. The bathroom is small, rather cold, and has some visible mold behind the toilet — it could definitely use a bit of refreshing so it doesn’t spoil the overall impression. If those two things were improved, it would easily be a perfect 10.
