Pollara is a quit place in november. The bus service to Malfa is good. And You can also walk in about an hour.
Make pasta or fish with kapers from Salina for dinner. And try the lokal vino bianco from Malfa.
You need to bring bathing shoes to swimm from Balneara.

Great location. Great view. Clean.
So disappointing as it was not private as was suggested by the images on booking.com! It has a shared verandah with the unit next door and only a bamboo petition between them. There were yapping dogs and it was noisy! We could hear every conversation and phone call and clink of cutlery from the unit next door!! Tiny bathroom. Wifi would be an advantage as well.
