Secluded lodge with spectacular views and hot tub!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were several issues that fell short of expectations, particularly given the price point. The hot tub was a little disappointing as it takes around 1.5–2 hours to heat up once the fire is lit. It would be a much better experience if guests were asked in advance whether they would like it warmed up for their arrival. There was also a lack of equipment provided to light the fire, such as kindling and firelighters. We requested additional supplies during our stay, but unfortunately nothing further was provided. There were also a few cleanliness concerns. We felt the need to wash cutlery and glasses before use as they did not appear particularly clean. In addition, some drawers and cupboards contained dust and hairs. A more thorough deep clean would make a significant difference, especially at this price level. We also requested cushions for the loungers, but none were provided. Again, for the cost of the accommodation, I would expect all advertised facilities and amenities to be fully available and in good order. While the property has a lot of potential, improvements in cleanliness, communication, and attention to guest requests would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Views were wonderful. Walk into Bath along canal very pleasant. Owners were really helpful

There’s no light past a certain point so it’s very difficult to see the keypad on the key safe and to actually climb the steps to the lodge The key didn’t work in the door to lock us in on a night which made me feel vulnerable , I text about it but no reply from the host No toilet roll left which is a standard basic we thought
