Sunny apartment, rooms for improvement regarding disinsection

Reception available 24h, possible for free parking, apart during the weekend in the evening, it was like mission impossible. Sunny and bright in the morning, shops and bars around it. Nicely decorated.

Bugs in the whole apartment made the stay problematic- big request to the host to improve it The building itself is outdated, looks inside very poor. Could be noisy due to parties in the weekend.

Excellent value, great host

Great location, bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by, everything catered for in apartment, host (Fabián) gave us his number on our arrival in case of any unforeseen circumstances, great WiFi (able to use firestick) Also able to use “left luggage room” at apartment complex(11:00 check out, evening flight on return) A big thank you from us Fabián, we wont hesitate to use this apartment for future visits to the area…if available!!

Complex a bit dated (but not apartment-very modern decor) but once you get past that you will see the value in this rental, lifts quite small but there’s plenty of them, complex pool had been drained but even had it been filled we wouldn’t have used it as there was no facilities around it(we used san Fermín hotel at other side of bonanza square)

Roach infestation and Harrassment

This host decided to harass me via text messages (see attached below) when I reported a roach infestation in the apartment, and his response to this maintenance request is why he is receiving a poor review. It is the host's responsibility to ensure cleanliness and repairs if they want ongoing positive feedback from guests. But because of a desperate need to make money, this host decided to force me to stay in an uncomfortable environment rather than humbly admit the problem at hand, issue a refund, and fix the problem on his own time. Now he will have this review as evidence that he prioritizes profit over quality. Had he just accepted the issue and admitted it needed to be resolved, he would've received a higher rating.

Booking.com needs to do better at protecting guests from abusive hosts. A host shouldn't begin texting a guest constantly and holding them hostage simply because they're worried they won't get money for a reservation. Booking.com was about to refuse me a refund for this reservation despite the photo evidence I submitted of both the roach infestation and host harassment because of so-called "legal issues". Ridiculous.

Rainy season life saver.

Spent 14 nights here 26 Feb - 12 Mar. The weather was awful, with weather warnings most days, and so much rain. The saving grace was that I managed to book into this beautiful apartment. Decor is modern and bright, and it was spot clean. The bed was really comfortable, and the wi-fi was a reliable 600 mbs. Would definitely book it again if it was available.

A lovely apartment, perfect for a week away

The apartment was really clean and had everything we needed for a week away. Great air con, had Netflix, WIFI etc. Also has toiletries, cleaning products, a washing machine, microwave etc. The hosts were great and kept in constant contact as soon as I booked. Quite central, lots of bars, shops and restaurants right outside. Also a taxi rank and a bus stop outside the front door. The beach is approx 10-15 minute stroll away, where there are lots more bars etc. The marina is approx 30 mins walk (or 5 euro in a taxi). The pool was great, we spent a few afternoons there. Lovely gardens surrounding the apartment as well. It's a large complex but was quite quiet. Complex has lifts. We'd definitely stay here again if we went back.

Our flight was delayed and we arrived here at 2am. All we had were the directions from Booking.com. The taxi driver dropped us off at the taxi rank on the square but he didn't know where the apartment block actually was. There are several apartment blocks next to each other and they all look the same. Was a little concerning walking around with luggage in the dark. A British woman who owned a bar opposite came out to try to help us but she was also unsure. I've attached a pic of the front of the building, hopefully this helps in future to locate the exact property (there is a number 8 on the main door outside, but it's very small, especially in the dark)! The apartment has been extended and the balcony has been converted into part of the actual apartment (where the dining table is). Even though this is a great idea and gives a little more space, we like to sit out on the balcony of an evening with a drink so did miss it having one. Sitting by the window wasn't really the same, just our preference though really.

there is an irish pub down the street that kept playing loud music until morning. this is not owners fault, just mentioning it that if you are light sleeper, bring some ear plugs :)

Amazing

From start to finish the owners kept in touch. The apartment was immaculate with drinks , muffins and chocolates on arrival! Everything had been catered for. Toiletries in the bathroom and everything you needed in the kitchen. The apartment was spotless! You must take a look around the gardens and pool .. lifeguards on duty, clean pool and parrots flying overhead. The beach is a short walk with a large supermarket en route to pick up a picnic ! There are a huge range of bars and restaurants on the doorstep but not the noisy type!! The marina is a short walk where you can book boat trips too. The train is a 10 min walk and goes direct to the airport for 2 euros. We arrived late so booked a taxi through BOLT for 18 euros. If you do not want to be in the busier resorts then book here.It has everything you need! The host was amazing kept in contact throughout Thank you for an amazing stay

La ubicación

La limpieza, trato con el dueño, había muchas cucarachas pequeñas sobre todo en la cocina, matamos cada noche unas 20, lo hemos comunicado con el dueño pero solo nos contestó que le lamenta la situación y que hay una plaga en el edificio y que ellos fumigan cada semana, lo cual dudo ya que no había ni trampas puestas o rejillas especiales para desagües para prever que suban por ahí. Lo mínimo que podían haber ofrecido, es llevar algún spray o ofrecer extra limpieza, lo cual no han hecho. No hemos podido disfrutar de las instalaciones, ya que las cucarachas estaban por todo y uno obviamente no se siente cómodo utilizar la cocina.

Cerca de la playa y con un anfitrión muy confiable"

Nos hospedamos en un apartamento muy cómodo y bien equipado, a pocos pasos de la playa, supermercados y restaurantes cerca. Algo que valoramos mucho fue que el apartamento tenía tumbona y todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la playa sin preocupaciones. Además, tuve un pequeño incidente: olvidé una pulsera que tenía un gran valor sentimental para mí. Me comuniqué con el anfitrión y, sin dudarlo, se ofreció a enviármela si la encontraba. Afortunadamente la recuperó y me la envió sin ningún problema. Este gesto me pareció muy honesto y se lo agradezco muchísimo, ya que fue a Francia.

durante nuestra estadía había obras en las calles cercanas, lo que dificultaba un poco el acceso. También la piscina del complejo estaba cerrada, aunque en nuestro caso no fue un gran problema porque la playa estaba muy cerca.

Breve estancia en Semana Santa.

Limpio y muy bien situado. Hay recepción y el personal muy amable. Todo muy agradable.

El tamaño, es el que tiene… como es lógico. Muy justito para tres personas, pero vamos.. que repetiría igual…. no es un tema excluyente en mi caso.
