Antlers Bed and Breakfast

We liked everything about it - helpful & friendly staff, great view from the room, room was clean & spacious, great selection of food for breakfast & nothing was too much trouble & bottles of water were replenished promptly when requested.

The toilet was difficult to flush the first time & took a few pumps to get a full flush.

The team were really kind and helpful we really appreciated the breakfast delicious!

The romantic question is hard to answer as everyone's idea of romance is different. You could be in a cow shed and make it romantic. What I would say, is that it is a beautiful place to stay. The room was lovely, it was clean, comfortable and set up beautifully. There were a lot of stairs but to be expected in this type of property and we were in the attic room. When we went for breakfast in the morning, the staff were wonderful and very attentive. Unfortunately I cant remember her name but there was a wonderful older lady who helped us. She was amazing and showed me the gardens, told me about the village etc. I wasn't sure from the instructions about the parking, but parked on the pub car park and they had no issue with this. As we arrived later we used the key safe to sign in. All very easy and no issues in any way. The village was beautiful and everyone made us feel welcome. We will definitely visit again

The breakfast, although lovely, was really greasy

Excellent communication with staff. Flexible with breakfast timings for us as we required earlier breakfasts which was greatly appreciated.

A few things need fixing. Shower head holder broken. Lock on the door to the room very sticky so incredibly hard to lock the door when leaving the room. No tissues provided. Drinking water not replaced and no easy access to water - sink very small so had to use a glass to fill and then empty that into our water bottles.
