Lovely place to stay to explore northern Wales and the surrounding area, with friendly hosts

The location is perfect to explore the Llŷn Peninsula, northern Eryri / Snowdonia, as well as Ynys Môn / Anglesey. It’s central to all the above mentioned locations but it’s also very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The hosts Dawn & Idris gave us some goodies upon arrival including chocolate, Welsh cakes and Prosecco. They also provided eggs from their farm for breakfast which were lovely.

Wonderful Gilfach.

Our second stay at Gilfach caravan and it was even better than the first time we visited. Dawn and Idris have spent a lot of time and effort improving the outside and now it's even more functional. A better shower and firmer mattress have made the inside better too. Our kids and dog love the outside space. We also enjoyed some of the apples and pears from the fruit trees. Gilfach is just a lovely place to be and a great base for exploring North West Wales with so many wonderful places to visit within an hour or so. We would recommend Gilfach to everyone. It is fabulous.

Six-night getaway, family of three.

Everything from arrival to checkout was amazing. The hosts were gracious and friendly without being overbearing. The accomodation is very private and extremely clean. We enjoyed every second we spent there, and will certainly return.

Dawn and Idris were fantastic hosts, both friendly and very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area. They were very accommodating to our dog and the area having an enclosed garden was amazing for her!

Lovely caravan with a stunning view.

The location is fantastic with many beauty spots within easy reach. The caravan is very well equipped and nicely decorated. The enclosed garden is lovely, with apple and pear trees and plenty of room for our dog to have a good mooch around. The view out to sea is fantastic and when clear enough, you can see over to South Stack on Anglesey. The sunsets are amazing and if you like your wildlife, there is plenty to see.

Amazing beautiful place where you can relax!

Absolutely everything! Amazing hosts Dawn and Idris made us feel very welcomed. Beautiful cozy caravan, very clean and with everything you need. Enclosed garden for our dog to run, own bbq, amazing seaviews with sunsets, fruit trees and very good location, only few min from the beach and 20 min from Snowdonia National Park. We've been given lovely welcome pack with chocolates, Prosecco, welsh cakes and biscuits..fresh eggs were delicious. Caravan is very well equipped, little things like salt and pepper or kitchen towels, hand wash or washing up liquid as well. The are leaflets and books with trips recommendations. Countryside Dog Walks book was amazing, we have seen so many beautiful places. We even got an extra night for free! That was amazing gift, my children were so excited. Thank you Idris and Dawn. We hope you grow and expand your little business and get many more customers. Thank you for helping us to make more memories.

A wonderful base for exploring the beaches of the Llyn Peninsular and the mountains of Snowdonia

The owners, Dawn and Idris, were super friendly and hospitable, and great for tips on places to visit and local eateries. The caravan had everything you could possibly want and is in its own secluded space with fabulous views of the ocean and wonderful sunsets from the deck in front. There was milk, tea and coffee, biscuits, chocolates and Welsh cakes to welcome us on arrival! We're definitely looking forward to staying there again.

The only disappointment was the fact that we only booked for three nights! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Stunning views , well maintained and equipped caravan , lovely host , welcomed us with smile and helped to find the place when we lost . Caravan has full privacy and gas barbq which we really enjoyed . We will definitely book again. Thank you Dawn and Idris

Wonderful and Relaxing week away.

We loved the location of the property, short drives to so many lovely places to visit. Sunsets every night were stunning and having fresh eggs for breakfast was delicious. The caravan had everything we needed.

We had a nice relaxing place after we finished a hard day's work the owners of the caravan was so nice gave us some nice fresh eggs from the chickens they and even popped in daily and had a little clean around witch we said ye we don't mind too and have a and a lovely view of the sea and the shops aren't to far away with was handy

Fantastic stay the caravan was spotless and very comfy with everything you need, the owners were amazing nothing was too much and even little extras for Christmas and lovely and cosy, even fresh farm eggs off Dawn and Idris's girls, the views are fantastic overlooking Anglesey and Holyhead Mountain and Newborough Beach, can not wait for my next visit as booked to go back I was that impressed

Best Caravan in North Wales.

As soon as I arrived at Gilfach, I felt welcomed and at home. Dawn came out to meet me as I got a bit lost. The caravan is the best caravan I've ever stayed in and I have been in lots over the years. The views are spectacular. This is a rural location, perfect if you want peace and quiet off the beaten track. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. The caravan was spotless, with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. If you love nature and amazing views, this is definitely for you. I will be definitely be returning. The owners are lovely without being intrusive.

Perfect little hideaway.

Dawn and Idris were very welcoming. Couldn't of asked for nicer people. The caravan was immaculate. Welcome pack was a very nice touch. There is a fenced off area around the caravan so our dogs were very safe to run around without having to worry about them.

We didn't realize it would be so rural but some people might like that idea.

The caravan was situated in a beautiful peaceful location, with stunning views. Ideally located to some of Wales most stunning beaches and tourist hotshots. Dawn and her husband were very welcoming and happy to help in any way they could. The caravan was super clean, well maintained and well kitted out, for cooking etc. There was the added bonus of your own private garden equipt with outdoor seating and bbq. The bed was very comfortable excellent for a good night's sleep after exploring Wales. We will definitely be booking for next year.

The caravan is so clean and cosy wonderful view of the sea, the owners cannot do enough for you, you have your own private garden with sitting plus seats are on the balcony, if you want peace and quiet this is for you.

Access road and signage could be a little better we are not the best people with navigation we got lost twice.!!

Just returned after 3 nights stay with my family. What an amazing place to stay. The caravan is spacious, modern, and clean with all the facilities that you could asked for. Its in a perfect location, very quiet with a private garden with some fruit trees and uninterrupted views over the sea. The outdoor space is great with 2 seating areas, one with a BBQ and other a decking with sofas where you could enjoy the sea views and beautiful sunset. Dawn and Idris are the best hosts that we’ve met and we will be definitely staying there again.

A much-needed Welsh weekend break that did not disappoint in any way!

Perfect location within striking distance of Abersoch, Nefyn, Snowdonia and Anglesey in addition to Caernarfon. Well-furnished and well-equipped caravan with all kitchen and bathroom amenities we needed and lovely fresh bedlinen and towels. Great outdoor space to BBQ and eat plus decking with sofas on which to sit with a glass of wine and watch the most beautiful sunset.

Peaceful with stunning views

We've just returned after a two night stay with the two kids and the dog. An amazing place, peaceful, beautiful sunset over the sea that was out of this world viewed from our seating area. Great secure area for the dog to potter around. The caravan was modern, clean and had everything we needed. Dawn and Idris were the best hosts. We will be staying again!

Much more than we imagined!

We stayed at this property for three nights and I have got to say this is the best, by far, caravan we have ever stayed in. The pictures don’t do it justice at all. The views are absolutely stunning with the most beautiful sea view and the sun sets were breathtaking; the living room window was like a telly watching the beautiful panoramic views of the sky. The caravan was absolutely spotless, with made beds and included towels and all needed amenities. You could tell it had been recently renovated with lots of care and thought. The hosts were wonderful too! Even gave us some fresh eggs from there hens and made sure we had everything and gave us a little welcome hamper and we’re lovely and helpful too and very welcoming. The Carvan came with a fab little bbq area and an enclosed garden which was great for the kids and felt secluded and very well thought out. It was a blissful, peaceful stay, yet close enough to towns for anything we needed. We enjoyed it that much we do plan to return which is something we don’t really make a habit out of doing as we love to explore new places. Perfect from start to finish. The only bad thing I can think of is that we didn’t book more nights! Thanks again for a lovely time we will be sure to come back.
