Wonderful week at the chapel!

The welcome pack was much appreciated and was a lovely touch. The Christmas decorations were also fab! The chapel itself was stunning with sea view from the front and mountains at the back. Perfection! The games room was a great space too. Didn't want to leave!

Stunning property

Amazing accomodations. Games room was a hit with kids. Views a hit with adults. Owner/manager responded very quickly to issue.

Bathroom door did not fit the door frame so wouldn't close (resolved very quickly). We decided not to take our dog. Glad we didn't. Sheep in neighbouring field clearly visible through garden fence. This would be difficult with a reactive dog.

Loved the space, lots of room, felt very spacious. Location great. Road side which could get busy but it didn't spoil things.

The bathroom door wouldn't shut or lock. The drain was blocked too for a while but the staff were very helpful trying to sort it. Ideally needs a second shower. There was a missing oven rack which made cooking multiple pizzas hard. The mattresses were too soft and the springs could be felt. The wii didn't work at all.

Great location and lovely property.

The property has clearly been finished to a high spec. The open-plan living space was brilliant, clean and exactly what we hoped it would be. The bedrooms were all clean too. The games room was a total bonus, we loved it.

The only snag we ran into was no drying space or hooks to hang wet things. There's a coat stand downstairs, but when there's a lot of rain not being able to hang waterproof trousers was a bit frustrating. Similarly - no drying rack for laundry that couldn't be tumbled. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this property!

North Wales Easter Break in Gryn Goch

Hen Gapel was great, we went as two families and there was so much space for all, even on rain days it did not matter so much as the house had plenty of light coming in and areas to enjoy from cooking to entertainment. The kitchen was absolutely full of utensils, dishes etc. that it did not feel as if it was a holiday home but a home from home! The controllable underfloor heating was perfect for the colder mornings and the house felt so cosy in the evening when relaxing in the entertainment room with the pool table and projector used quite frequently. We were contacted by the property cares's before we arrived and were given all the contact information we needed and they also left us some locally baked treats as well, we were touched by the kind thought!

To be honest, we didn't find anything that we were disappointed with during our stay and in fact it was far beyond the expectation we all had in a kind way. The adults and the kids loved it and we would love to return in a warmer summer period.

Lovely quirky place to stay

The place is quirky, so you don't feel like you are staying in someone else's house. I loved the way they used church benches as bed heads and for the massive dining room table. The games room was a huge hit with my family, and we ended up spending most of our time there compared to the living room upstairs. Upstairs offered great views overlooking the sea and had plenty of games and books to keep us entertained. The kitchen was well-equipped, and upon arrival, they had placed some milk in the fridge and a cake on the side, which was a nice touch. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here, especially with a family. There is plenty to do in the chapel, even on a rainy day. We were happy to spend the entire day inside the chapel.

Silly one, but it would be good to have a little fridge in the games room, it is quite a long way from the games room to the kitchen.
