Sabrina is lovely and communicative, we had a nice chat on the final day when we overlapped in the property. It's very easy to get into Venice, a single bus from nearby. (Watch out that the place selling tickets is closed on a Sunday.) It was also very quiet which was good for us.
Room a bit dusty - not a problem for us but potentially worth knowing.

Title: Amazing stay in a typical Venetian neighbourhood!
Sabrina was a very welcoming host. The accommodation was exactly as the description, with two beds, a big wardrobe, a bedside table and lamp, a desk and a chair and the best of all: no noise at all!
It’s got excellent public transport links: a bus stop that is about a five-minute walk with several bus lines that take you to Piazzale Roma in Venice. It was possible to use the kitchen, which was a very thoughtful detail, taking into account the prices of Venetian restaurants. The bathroom was shared and there was hot water the whole time, which is a nice touch, since some places don't have it.
Although it was a shared house, I could enjoy complete privacy.
She was very attentive, even when I sent her a message telling that I'd arrive earlier than expected. She kindly sent me the code to enter the house. She even offered me some sliced wholegrain bread, local honey, pistachio cream and some tea bags to have breakfast. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

I must say that when I read some reviews, I was quite unsure if it'd be a good option, although I decided to give it a try.
The house ended up being perfect for me because:
* it was a five-minute walk to a bus stop with several local buses (1,50€ fare) that reached Venice in 15 minutes, easy to get to the airport too.
* my bedroom was spacious and bright, it had a wardrobe, bedside table with lamp, desk and chair. I was woken by birdsong in the morning...
* the bathroom was large, the shower had good water pressure and nice temperature.
In addition, I could use the kitchen to prepare breakfast and some light meals for dinner, which was a plus.
Sabrina went above and beyond to make my stay more pleasant. Since my flight changed, I arrived earlier and she graciously allowed me to put my luggage in my room and have some tea. She also gave me a Venice map and useful tips, like WIFI hotspots and places to visit.
She was so kind and helpful that you wouldn't regret staying in her house!
