Charming and quaint, this four-bedroom cedar shake home set on a private, wooded lot is your perfect home base for a Martha’s Vineyard vacation. Tucked onto a quiet street between historic downtown Edgartown and Katama (South) Beach, you’ll have easy access to both – and beyond – via nearby bike paths. Both the Nantucket and Cape Cod ferries are an easy drive away as well. In season, start the day by biking a little under a mile over to the Katama Kitchen for a unique breakfast right next to the Katama Airfield, where you can watch small aircraft and biplanes take off and land on a grassy airstrip while you eat.
Inside, you’ll find a homey living space, outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The chef will appreciate the full kitchen, and the adjacent dining area can feed the whole crew. The exposed brick, knotty pine ceilings, and wood floors in the main living area create a charming spot to relax while you stream your favorite shows or upload the day’s pics to social media with the in-home Wifi. Keep dinner simple with the gas grill on the deck, or step out to one of Edgartown’s many restaurants. At the end of the day, four bedrooms with a variety of sleeping configurations mean there is room for everyone.

We rented this for our extended family and they were thrilled. The bikes, hammock, and swing were highlights, as was the convenience of the location. Many happy guests!!

Love this house. Clean, secluded, and lots of room. You can bike to the beach via bike path or to the general store in the morning for coffee.

The location was a bit far from the center of town, but the house and the backyard was amazing. Sun room was amazing. Lots of games! Could have been a lot cleaner- when we got there right after the cleaners, there was crumbs on 1 bed, empty tissue box in a bedroom, and the furniture felt dusty. But overall lots of room and the house itself was very cute. Better job cleaning and making the place smell fresh would be helpful.
