Luxury Seaside Retreat Holiday Home - Shorefield Country Park

The caravan was in a good location to the sea. And where we wanted to spend our days out. And was tidy and clean . Just what we needed.

But from holiday makers that have to spend there hard earned money. We expected The word Luxury to mean that. The cooking utensils were melted plastic.the carpets had stains and hard floors.had not been deep cleaned as we spilt something . And cleaned it.to find the cloth was black fro. The dirt it had also picked up.the outside floor hadn't been cleaned in a while. The mop looked like it had never been used Dirt around the edges of the doors. Just a bit of attention to detail for your customers. I am sure you wouldn't be happy. Apart from that.it was good .

Beautiful property, very homely, fantastic location and well equipped, loved that it had board games for us to enjoy! And saw the most beautiful sun sets

No real faults as such, but Could do with a better hoover (personal opinion) had a bbq in the listing but wasn't there

Caravan had everything we needed. Great location nice and quiet on the edge of the holiday park. Not far to walk to a nice sandy beach.

Mattress was uncomfortable for my liking. Otherwise very comfortable accommodation.

Lovely van, well decorated and well stocked. Nice to have a well stocked kitchen equipment cupboard, lots of lounging space and plenty of storage space. If the weather was better the patio area would have been really good - lovely furniture, south facing and very clean. You can hear the roar of the sea and it is great watching the sea birds flying over.

Beds were not comfy at all in the van. No where to hang coats and vacuum cleaner prevents the cupboards from closing properly. Cleaner needs to clean under the beds and on top of shelves. Mostly needs a deep kitchen clean once in a while, extractor fan area and cupboards need some work (spoken as an ex-cleaner). Please provide some oven trays - we needed these as the restaurant couldn't feed us, see below. The site facilities were (nothing to do with the Property Owner) a bit of a joke. I agree it was New Year's Week, but they were terribly staffed, the restaurant didn't function (very unwelcome welcome, 1hr wait on food, longer for drinks on Monday 30th), you couldn't get a drink at the bar, the pool and other areas were not open at useful times, the shop was not open at useful times for us and centre staff seemed to act as if guests were an inconvenience. I regret paying the extra (£70 for 4 nights) leisure pass for something we couldn't use at all.
